It’s over. The final presidential debate is done. It was less chaotic, more grounded in policy, and there was substance…mostly from Trump. The president went into his record on jobs, the economy, reaching out to the black community, and delivered effective jabs at Joe Biden’s character regarding corruption and Hunter Biden’s emails.

Trump was aggressive, but he abided by the debate rules, mostly. NBC News’ Kristen Welker actually did a good job moderating this debate. The president allowed Biden’s mouth to do all the damage. The former VP tried to rewrite history on immigration policy under Obama-Biden, tried to lie about his remarks on fracking—Joe wants to end it—and pretty much said that he was going to destroy the oil industry.

President Trump hit on Biden for being all talk, no action. And doing nothing on big issues for the better part of four decades. Biden also took a page out of Game of Thrones with his dark winter is coming warning

Trump was prepared. He was calm, collected, and lethal. Biden was rattled by the jabs at Hunter and the allegations of corruption. He rambled at times, and if Biden’s team was hoping for NBC’s Welker to save Biden from himself—they were mistaken.

Election Day is Nov. 3. Don’t forget to vote.
