Boy, do I hate being right all the time.
I have argued for a while now that the Left is on the brink of throwing women and gays under the proverbial bus in an effort to appease Muslims and their radical agenda. It seems like almost every day, I get more evidence of this, whether it's a Democrat woman like AOC or Kathy Hochul or Peggy Flanagan donning the hijab, or U.K. authorities handing out hijabs to the migrant women reaching Britain's shores, or Melissa Chaudhry removing her LGBTQ platform from her campaign website to bend the knee to Muslims in Washington.
Yesterday's Democrat excommunication of Haley Stevens is now the latest — and most blatant — example of my working thesis.
Haley committed the unforgivable sin of listening to Abdul El-Sayed, who said he didn't want Stevens to campaign with him anymore, which drove Stevens into the welcoming arms of Mike Rogers. Stevens endorsed Rogers following El-Sayed's refusal to condemn a despicable ad from a group that blamed Israel and the Jews for high gas prices and inflation.
When you see the Inclusion Mob attacking Haley Stevens so viciously you realize that yesterday’s champions of diversity are today’s intolerants.

Democrats demand that everyone think alike - they have become a party where dissent is absolutely NOT allowed.
While I obviously do not agree with Stevens on much — she voted with Joe Biden almost 98 percent of the time — to pretend she's now a MAGA shill or my new bestie is laughable. She's a tried and true Democrat who simply drew a line in the sand.
Isn't that a line we can all agree on? That hating Jews (or any demographic) so openly and brazenly should be condemned? That's all El-Sayed had to do, by the way, to keep Stevens on his side: say that it's wrong to blame Israel for how much it costs to fill up our gas tanks.
He couldn't do it, probably because he agrees with the sentiment.
For that, Haley was told she's no longer a Democrat, and James Carville compared her to a "used condom."
James Carville just compared Haley Stevens to "a used condom."

His words, not mine. That's how Democrats talk about a Democrat who endorsed ONE Republican.
Their elder statesman went straight for the gutter.
Democrats lecture you about respecting women right up until a woman… https://t.co/Mhr23r1zQh
You keep it classy there, Jimmy.
The other despicable reaction was that Stevens is somehow either mentally ill or being abused by her fiancé because of her political change of heart.

"The consensus among her friends, colleagues and staff is that there needs to be an intervention to save Haley from her fiancé because, if you ignore the politics and focus on the personal dynamics, you are watching in real time what happens when a kind and smart - but deeply insecure - woman falls under the influence of a toxic and controlling - and deeply insecure - man," the post reads.
Let me translate this for those of you that don't speak Democrat: a woman who supports a Republican must be abused by a man in her life. No sane woman would support Republicans.
This, too, is deeply misogynistic. As a woman, I vote how I want to. My boyfriend has no pull on who I check the boxes for on Election Day. My father and my brother and my late ex-husband didn't have any sway on that, either.
To say that I was abused, or that I've somehow "internalized" misogyny, or that I'm mentally ill is the tactic of every socialist ever: they, too, accused their political opponents of being mentally unwell so they could jail and institutionalize them.
I will also note that this is not the behavior of a campaign that's confident in its chances tomorrow. If El-Sayed were up by 11, as some pollsters claim, Stevens' defection to the Rogers camp would be meaningless. The Democrats' hysteria tells me the internals show a different story, and they worry it will have an impact on the outcome of the race.
Personally, I think what Stevens did took guts. I wish she had done it sooner, but then again, she probably knew what was coming for her and wanted to push that off as long as possible.
But for the so-called "Party of Women" the optics of this cannot be ignored. We have a woman who has been Democrat for her entire political career and Democrats are throwing her out of the party because she refused to support a Muslim candidate with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood, with donors who have ties to other terrorist connections, who won't condemn antisemitism and dismissed a Hezbollah-inspired terrorist attack in Michigan as "hurt people hurt people." That's not a coincidence. For the entirety of this campaign, critics of El-Sayed have been dismissed as "Islamophobes" and "racists."
It is, however, a warning: there's no room for independent-minded women in today's Democrat big tent, and the Democrats — as I have long argued — will sell out their own party members to appease their Islamist base. Remember this today, remember this tomorrow, and vote accordingly.
