I take this story with a grain of salt, because it is Reddit, after all. But following the despicable attempt by CNN's Abby Phillip to dismiss, minimize, and even justify the report that 6,600 non-citizens were added to the state's voter rolls. Those are the ones we know about, of course. Of those, at least 400 voted illegally, that thing Democrats assured me would never happen.
Phillip's argument boiled down to two things: first, that the 6,600 non-citizens represented just 0.006 percent of the state's registered voters, and second, that cleaning up the voter rolls might accidentally remove an American citizen from the voter rolls. She misses the bigger point, of course: that every single illegal vote cast already disenfranchises an American. In New Jersey, that's at least 400 voters that we're aware of. Now imagine how many we don't know about.
But for the people who scream and moo the loudest about welcoming immigrants to this country and their rights, etc., etc. if this story is even remotely true, it turns out voter fraud hurts them, too.
He was automatically registered to vote at the New Jersey DMV while renewing his license back in 2014. He explicitly stated he was a non citizen.

Here's what the post says (emphasis added):
I am in a desperate situation. In 2014, I renewed my driver's license in NJ, and it seems I got accidentally registered to vote back then. I don't know if this was my mistake (I checked a box or something that I don't recollect, but I am sure I did not say I am a U.S. citizen) or whether it was the MVC's mistake. But I had no idea I was registered to vote until I went for my citizenship interview last week and the officer told me this. I never received any documents to my address all these years about it. But this is not the worst part. The worst part is that someone seems to have mistakenly/fraudulently voted under my name in the 2018 state general election! I realized this when I checked my voter history a few days back. I swear I have not voted in this or any other election. Now the USCIS has asked me to provide a RFE [request for evidence]. I have reached out to my county for help. They told me they could've written a letter stating that the Voter Registration by the MVC was a mistake, but the voting record will require a thorough investigation which could take a while. But I only have until Dec. 8 to submit all documents to USCIS for the RFE. I have contacted an attorney, but they said it's an uphill battle—they've never seen such a case before. I would be grateful for any advice. I am totally devastated. I have a young family with kids, we have jobs, kids go to school here. I can't afford to be deported.
So here we have a man (I'm going to assume this is a man) who is trying to do the right thing and follow the immigration laws. Thanks to the malfeasance of the Democrats running New Jersey, he and his family might be deported because they couldn't be bothered to do anything about voter fraud.
I'll point out here that Voter ID would have prevented this, by the way. Had that fraudulent voter been required to show his ID at the polls, this immigrant would likely not be in this mess.
If this is accurate, I feel bad for the guy on an individual level, but bigger-picture, he is a casualty of a system is susceptible to fraud as a feature, not as a bug.

It doesn’t have to be this way!
I am a die-hard on immigration, and I want illegal aliens deported. But here's a guy who is trying to follow the laws, who hasn't committed any crimes that we're aware of, who has kids and a job and a life. He's trying to follow our immigration laws and for that, it seems he'll be punished.
If nothing else, he understands now what it's like to be an American in a Democrat-controlled blue state. The law-abiding get punished while the law-breakers get rewarded.
Abby Phillip won't have this person on her show. She won't even give him a second thought as she lectures Scott Jennings about voter fraud. That's because they don't care. The fraud is the point, and the ultimate goal is to trickle out these stories until one day—whoops!—it turns out there are tens of millions of non-citizens on the voter rolls, and it's just too complicated and unfair to remove them now.
They did that with immigration, too. They let so many people flood over our borders under Biden that they now say it's impossible to remove them all, when they're not throwing wrenches into the immigration process via activist judges, that is.
Democrats would be screaming bloody murder if President Trump sent ICE to deport him. They would write weepy sob stories about how ICE is breaking apart a family, how he was a pillar of his community, how this was a grave injustice of the highest order. Anti-ICE rioters would try to burn down another federal building. The outrage would be real and palpable. But because this happened under the watch of one of their own, the silence will be deafening.
And that's because when their two preferred worlds collide, the Democrats, as always, are eager to throw the good guy under the bus. In their political calculus, having 6,600 non-citizens on the voter rolls is more important than justice for one legal migrant.
