Blame Democrats

Not even 48 hours ago, every Democrat from D.C. to DeKalb was marking the anniversary of January 6 as if it were the darkest day in American history, one that outstripped the Great Depression, Pearl Harbor, the Kennedy assassination, and 9/11 combined. They even held a candlelight vigil where they sang "God Bless America" before half of the country died from the cringe.

They call January 6 the greatest act of insurrection in the nation, akin to the South seceding before the Civil War, and they feign, for at least a day, that they care about the men and women of law enforcement. Granted, they have to lie and say officers were killed in the line of duty that day to do it, but it's the thought that counts, I guess.

All that changed yesterday in Minneapolis, of course, when 37-year-old Leftist Renee Nicole Good was shot and killed after she tried to run down ICE agents with her SUV on the city's south side. Suddenly, the Left no longer had a fondness for protecting law enforcement, nor did they believe insurrection was a bad thing.

Mayor Jacob Frey, in one of the most insulting press conferences I've ever listened to, immediately dismissed the claims of self-defense as "garbage" and "bullsh**" before one minute of the investigation had been completed. Unlike Frey, however, I have eyeballs. I watched the video from several angles, and Good not only ignored lawful orders to exit the vehicle, but she also sped up and struck a glancing blow against an agent who then opened fire on her.

And he was right to do so. Even NBC gave a surprisingly fair breakdown of the video that backed up the argument the shooting was justified.

A car is a 2,000-pound deadly weapon, and legal precedents have long established that law enforcement can use deadly force to stop the threat of a vehicle.

Renee Nicole Good was a grown woman who made the choice to be in Minneapolis, to put her car in an area where ICE was present, and to defy orders to exit the vehicle. That's her fault, and the cost of her choices was her life. But Democrats like Tim Walz and Jacob Frey drove Good to make those decisions, and they cannot wash their hands of this.

Any time a Republican, especially President Trump, says or does something controversial, every other Republican is bombarded with demands by the media to disavow their colleague's actions, and every Republican is guilty by association. When there's a mass shooting, every single gun owner is accused of pulling the trigger, and whenever there's a fake "hate crime" reported, the Left is quick to blame "right-wing rhetoric" for it (looking at you, Jussie Smollett).

For the better part of a decade, the Left has called President Trump Hitler, a fascist, a threat to democracy, and an existential threat to our freedoms. Just the other day, Gavin Newsom said President Trump won't all "free and fair elections" in 2028 (by which Newsom means, "He won't let Democrats cheat.")

We saw the fruits of this rhetoric on July 13, 2024, when a crazed Leftist tried to assassinate President Trump during a campaign stop in Butler, PA. The only person killed that day was retired firefighter and family man Corey Comperatore, who died shielding his family from the gunfire.

After President Trump won reelection that November and entered office looking to shut down our border and deport the illegal immigrants the Biden administration let flood our country, the rhetoric shifted to target ICE, DHS, and CBP agents. Tim Walz himself called them the "Gestapo" on several occasions. Jacob Frey issued a thinly veiled threat that if they came to Minneapolis, they could be the targets of violence.

They already are, Mr. Mayor. Violent attacks against federal law enforcement are up more than 1,000 percent.

Meanwhile, Frey tells these agents to "get the f***" out of Minneapolis and Minnesota, while saying the city will respond with "love."

Walz says his state is "at war" with the federal government, vowed to use the National Guard to block ICE, and demanded cities around the country burn in protest.

Last night, insurrection was cause for national mourning; today, they're pushing for insurrection and calling for the deaths and arrests of law enforcement.

Democrats push to arrest and unmask them so their violent foot soldiers can doxx ICE agents' families and continue their reign of terror. A reign of terror that Democrats advocate for and endorse on a daily basis.

That's what this is: domestic terrorism. Unlike the Biden administration, which classified parents asking questions at school boards as "domestic terrorists," Leftists who riot, obstruct federal law enforcement, plot to murder them, and attempt to murder them are actually domestic terrorists.

DHS head Kristi Noem called them that during a speech in Texas today, and we need to see more of this from Republicans. We need to start holding Democrats accountable for their actions and their words. That means censuring them in Congress, charging them with incitement to violence, withholding federal funds from cities that don't adhere to federal immigration laws, and continuing to flood the zone until we remove illegal immigrants from our country.

Let them wail. Let them gnash their teeth. Let them stop their feet like the petulant children they are. They do not get to hold candlelight vigils for January 6 one day, and call for actual insurrection the next. The Democratic Party's rhetoric drove a woman to assault ICE agents, which ended her life. Rather than take a moment to tone things down, they turned up the heat.

And it's time to fight fire with fire.
