I've argued for years that Democrats are abusive. Time and again, they do things that knowingly harm their voters in their shameless pursuit of power. It's a cold comfort to know that things aren't much better elsewhere, and it's alarming to see how utterly tone deaf they are over in the U.K.
The Home Office put out an ad warning women about signs of abuse.
Monitoring her location. Restricting her from going online. Isolating her from loved ones.

Are they talking about an intimate partner, or are they talking about the Labour Party?
Because that advert applies to both.
Just the other day, I told you the U.K. is not only doing away with jury trials — a millennia-long cornerstone of Western jurisprudence — but they're giving magistrates the authority to jail people for up to two years without the possibility of appeal. At least 40 percent of magistrate appeals are upheld.
Back in August, UK Justice Secretary Shabana Mahmood said that those "on community sentences must be forced to sacrifice too." She wrote:
But crooks who cause chaos on our streets could soon be banned from stadiums – stranded at home while their mates cheer from the stands. Or holidays. Lawbreakers may dream of sun, sea and sangria each Summer.
But they won’t get far – because tough new enforcement means probation officers can send them back to prison if they try. This is about punishing criminals for the harm they have done. It is also about protecting victims.
We’re bringing in new restriction zones that will fence the worst offenders into a single area. This will mean victims can go wherever they want without fear of the person who hurt them watching over their shoulder.
This, of course, doesn't apply to Muslim rapists and murderers. They get slaps on the wrist. White Brits, on the other hand? Throw the book at them.
Police are likely to show up at your door if you post something even mildly critical of Islam or the government on social media, even if only a handful of people see it. Saying "I like bacon" is a punishable offense.
Keir Starmer dared to say there's a "national emergency" of violence against women and girls, promising "trauma-informed care" for children — but he refused even to name, let alone root out — the cause(s) of this "national emergency." In a bitter irony, the Home Office is the "lead UK government department for immigration & passports" (you're doing a bang-up job there, guys!), as well as "crime & policing, homeland security and protecting vulnerable people."
They have utterly failed at every one of those missions. It's breathtaking in how perfectly incompetent the Home Office actually is.
J.K. Rowling pointed out Labour's hypocrisy on protecting women from misogynists while forcing women to accept men in their bathrooms, maternity wards, and rape crisis shelters. Women who object lose their jobs, face tribunals, and end up behind bars. The only reason Rowling isn't locked up for her views on the trans issue is because a billion Harry Potter fans would descend on the U.K. to bust her out (and she's rich).
You can't own guns. The government is toying with banning knives or mandating the sale of knives with rounded edges because they refuse to stop important people who like to stab others in the street. Engage in an act of self-defense, even in your own home, and you'll get more time behind bars than your violent attacker.
And all the while, Labour will tell the citizenry that such Orwellian measures are for their own good.
"We care about your safety," they'll say, as an Islamist slashes your throat. Then they'll chide you for being racist and say you had it coming.
That's the hallmark of every abuser, and you'll find none greater in the U.K. than the people in the current government.
