I've long argued the media are stenographers and propagandists for the Democratic Party, and they're only willing to perform their jobs when a Republican is involved or there are no political stakes for whatever Democrat they happen to be attacking.
This is a case of the latter. Demented, cancer-stricken Joe Biden will suffer no political fallout from the myriad post-presidency revelations that have cropped up in the past ten months. Instead, the journalist class will pat themselves on the back, emulating the Ralph Wiggum "I'm helping" meme, rather than doing hard reporting when the political and professional stakes were higher.
This is why The New York Times and other outlets can finally reveal that Joe Biden — or, more accurately, whatever puppet masters who were actually running his administration — were warned his immigration policies would cause chaos.

President Joe Biden was warned by advisers that his immigration plans could lead to “chaos” at the US border — but he ignored them, a newly uncovered memo reveals.
His team doled out the advice to Biden when he was still campaigning against President Trump back in 2020, the New York Times reported.
“A potential surge could create chaos and a humanitarian crisis, overwhelm processing capacities and imperil the agenda of the new administration,” Biden’s advisers wrote.
The memo warned that a huge influx was possible given Biden’s approach, a backlog from the Trump administration, and COVID hardships.
His team offered up steps that Biden, now 83, could take to thwart an influx of illegal migrants — including ways to reject immigration claims more easily, potentially holding asylum seekers in “reception centers” until their cases could be heard and transferring them to other countries.
This story is interesting for several reasons, which my colleague Matt covered in his excellent article here. But there are two things I want to talk about.
We'll start with the media throwing Biden under the bus. As I said above, the sick old man with pudding for brains won't be held accountable for this, so they'll make sure to get him under those wheels good and hard. We all know — we all know — that President Autopen wasn't calling any of the shots from 2021 to 2025. Who was? We'll likely never get clear answers on this and I doubt anyone will be held accountable.
But the other point is this: the media are once again missing the real story here (and on purpose). The chaos of the Biden administration's immigration policies wasn't a bug. It was a feature.
Whether Biden was a one-term POTUS or had eight years in office, Democrats wanted the chaos his advisors supposedly warned against precisely so no one could undo it down the road.
We've seen that play out daily since January 20, 2025.
It's why Democrats run to circuit court judges for nationwide injunctions barring immigration action. It's why they scream and demand "due process" — a lengthy legal course — for people who couldn't be bothered to adhere to due process when they came into this country, often living off the taxpayers and often committing violent crimes. It's why Democrats are pushing to unmask ICE, calling ICE agents the Gestapo/Nazis/slave drivers. It's why Leftists are mobbing cities like L.A. with fiery riots.
They wanted to flood America with so many illegal immigrants that it would be nearly impossible for a future administration to do anything to address the issue, save giving them all mass amnesty, ushering in a permanent Democratic Party majority. And when President Trump won reelection and wasn't going to grant illegals amnesty, they fell back on delaying deportations in the courts, demanding due process, and resorting to violence and threats.
Right before leaving office, President Biden (or the intern who drew the short straw that day) posted on X, "It will take time to feel the full impact of all that my Administration has done. But the seeds we planted will grow and bloom for decades to come."
We're seeing it blossoming every time a Leftist takes a shot at ICE agents, as they did in Texas — including Joshua Jahn, who killed two immigrants, and a guy in Los Angeles who tried to firebomb a federal facility. We're seeing it when judges keep guys like Kilmar Abrego Garcia from being deported, despite having a criminal history and deportation orders. And we see it every time the media runs a dishonest story, like NBC News did yesterday with their mathematically challenged tale of criminal illegals.
Chaos was, and remains, the entire point.
