For weeks in the run up to the midterms, I was deluged with Democrats warning me that President Trump was a fascist who was going to interfere with the election. They warned me that his crackdown on mail-in voting would suppress minorities, and that he would use the SAVE America Act to suppress the vote.
In July, David Axelrod said that this was Trump's "Plan B" if the midterms were looking unfavorable for Republicans.

I'm old enough to remember when saying stuff like this was election denialism and a threat to democracy.
I guess that's only when a Republican does it.
Not a single journalist will ask about this, of course. Jake Tapper will not scold Gavin Newsom for his election denialism, his lies, or his fear mongering. Much like any mentions of affordability and the Epstein files, this too will go away. The incoming Congress is too determined to be the "gayest in history," to strip us of our Second Amendment rights, and to put Republicans in jail or mass graves to actually deliver on the campaign promises they made.
As I have said repeatedly since Tuesday, they're taking all the wrong lessons from the midterms, and that's fine by me. I know how this ends for them, and I welcome that. But here's what else I know: Democrats are craven liars who spent months pretending Donald Trump is a fascist dictator.
Now that they've won the election, they'll pretend they never said this stuff. The media will move on and not demand answers. It's almost like they didn't believe it when they said it. The other thing I know is their accusations are confessions, so we better fight when they try to interfere with elections going forward, like entering into the unconstitutional compact that undermines the Electoral College.
