Rep. Jasmine Crockett seems to be trying to compete with AOC for the title of dumbest Democrat in the House of Representatives. I didn't think I'd live to see the day that AOC would find someone she could win when comparing intelligence with someone else outside of a special needs classroom, but here we are.

And really, the last few days haven't been great for the Texas Democrat.

It wasn't made any better by her referring to Gov. Greg Abbott, who is in a wheelchair, as "Governor Hot Wheels." Her backpeddling explanation for what she supposedly meant didn't make a lot of sense, of course. It also seems like BS since she'd supported its use previously to describe Abbott.

Then there was the videoed assault on a reporter trying to ask her questions in a hallway open to the public. She's tried "explaining" that away, too. She's never at fault, of course, and why would she be?

See, what we need to understand about Crockett and many of her fellow leftists is that, quite simply, they can do whatever they want to anyone on the right.

One would be tempted to call it a double standard--and cue the "If not for double standards, leftists would have no standards at all" line--but that's not accurate, either.

They have very clear standards on how people should be treated.

They just don't think anyone on the right counts as people.

She could make light of Abbott being in a wheelchair, not because disabled people are worthy of being disrespected in her mind, but because Abbott is a Republican and therefore doesn't count as a human.

It's why every woman who stands up as a Republican gets the most misogynistic insults ever thrown at them. It's why black members of the GOP get called some of the most racist names imaginable.

Journalists should be respected and revered...unless they work for a right-wing outlet.

It's why they don't blink at burning down Tesla dealerships. Elon Musk isn't a person anymore.

Remember eight years ago when everyone on the left was talking about "punching Nazis" while also claiming everyone they disliked was a Nazi? That was just a way to justify the assaults they wanted to carry out, all while pretending words they don't like are violence. They're people and we're not.

Oh, I'm sure many will claim that they think no such thing, but talk is cheap. Actions speak far louder, and their actions only start to make any kind of sense if you realize that they've dehumanized us in their own minds. They can do whatever they want with impunity, not just because they're so convinced of their own righteousness, but because they're not actually hurting people in the process.

Oddly, the only thing that has saved them from having a harsh lesson on just how wrong they are so far is that they're so wrong about us.

If we were everything they think we are, then Jasmine Crockett would have found out very quickly that you don't lay hands on someone. She'd have gotten a painful lesson for that, even if they're annoying you--and, oddly enough, I don't remember Crockett saying crap when activists followed Sen. Krysten Sinema into a bathroom. No mention of "safety" or any other crap she claimed justified her actions.

The fact that so many Democrats seem enamored of this fake hood-talking woman from an elite prep school background who acts like she grew up in the projects for political gain is troubling, as is the fact that many think she should run for president. It's really just another data point that Crockett's inability to see anyone to the right of her as human isn't just a Jasmine Crockett thing. It's a Democrat thing.
