I Hate to Say I Told You So, But I Know Leftist Ideology

About a year ago, I wrote two columns about how, given the current moral drift caused by Leftist ideology, it wouldn’t be long before we started hearing about humans and a perverted desire towards animals.  One of the articles was about bestiality (“Zoophilia, or ‘AAPs’”; “AAPs are “animal attracted people”).  Bestiality has been around a long time, and it will soon make a comeback.  Indeed, recently there was a story—not a nice one—about a man and his dog.  It was disgusting—to normal people—and I’ll let you use your own imagination.

A second article I wrote was tongue-in-cheek, but in one sense, totally serious (“I’ve Decided to Be a Dog”).  If men can claim to be women, and visa-versa, how long would it be before people would start claiming to be animals?  I was more prophetic than even I could have imagined.

Recently, this was posted on Twitter (“X”) by “KanekoaTheGreat”:  “Hundreds of humans who identify as dogs gather[ed] at a Berlin train station to advocate for the rights of people who identify as dogs...”  It wasn’t a joke (look it up). He included a picture of these fine specimens of dog-dom.  “Hundreds” of them.  Well, I’m not impressed.  They are way behind the times.  I “identified” as a dog a year ago.  I’m their leader.  Take me to myself.  Arf.

What we are witnessing here is Leftist ideology, Leftist morality, ethical subjectivism.  There is no such thing any more as “normal,” as “right” or “wrong,” as “truth” or “error,” as “good” or “evil.”  Or at least, no commonly accepted standard of such.  Everybody defines it for themselves.  The only good thing is, it tends to be cyclical in history, coming and going with current fads.  3000+ years ago, in the period of the “judges” in ancient Israel, we read—twice—“everyone did what was right in his own eyes(Judges 17:6; 21:25).  We are in a similar period today.  The writer of Judges attributed it to, “in those days there was no king in Israel.”  We can attribute it today to modern “progressivism”.  It certainly isn’t what true Judeo-Christian heritage teaches.

The term “evil” is being defined out of existence.  We no longer know what it is.  It is a totally subjective concept.  What might be “evil” to you isn’t “evil” to me.  Liberals think Donald Trump is evil; conservatives think Joe Biden and the Democratic Party are evil. But this ethical subjectivism has become so dominant in our society that it has infiltrated even “conservative” morality.  For example, how many times do we hear supposed conservatives using the “f” word like it is the only adjective they know?  This would have never happened even a generation ago.

You “old-timers” know exactly what I’m talking about.  When I was young, the “f” word was NEVER heard, not in any kind of decent crowd or conversation.  That word was absolutely taboo and only “evil” people, the lowest scum of society, used it.  At least in “polite,” “civilized” company.  Do you remember the uproar when Clark Gable said in “Gone With the Wind,” “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a d--n.”  Now, we knew that people often used that kind of language.  My father used it all the time (he NEVER used the “f” word in front of me—not until his last few years when he lost his mind—but never when I was a child.)   But now, that word, and worse (if there is worse), is heard everywhere, all the time.  Some movies seem to be written with the express purpose of seeing how many times it can be put intodialogues.  I personally don’t think this is “progress,” but obviously many people, even “conservatives,” aren’tbothered by it.

Our society has changed, and I think towards the worst, basest elements of human nature, and it isn’t because we have moved closer to God.  Look how America, evenconservative America, has drifted.  A word that was totallyverboten in polite company 50 years ago is now one of the most common words on the human tongue.  Benjamin Franklin—no devout Christian he—said, “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom.  As nations become more corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.”  Old Ben at least knew what “virtue” was.  We, apparently, don’t any more.  And we are a better nation for it?  Are you kidding me, liberals?

We no longer know what a man and woman are.  Joe Biden can say about “transgender” people that they are “created in the image of God” (I’ve heard him say it twice).  That is utterly blasphemous to traditional Judeo-Christian morality.  It is “evil” to deny that God “created them male and female.”  To those who believe in traditional Judeo-Christian morality, God’s word is the final, absolute canonof “good” and “evil.”  That used to be the accepted norm in America and Western Civilization, although nobody lived itperfectly, of course.  But it’s NOT the agreed upon standardanymore, Leftist ideology is.  And it’s even degenerating conservatives.  Countless Americans no longer believe inJudeo-Christian ethics as the “right” standard to judge human speech and actions.  We don’t know what is “right” or wrong” anymore.  “Every man does what is right in his own eyes.”  And so, how can we be surprised when we get people who want the “right” to identify as dogs?

Is this healthy?  Most people who read this article will probably say “no, it isn’t.”  But we are a decided minority now, at least among the “intelligentsia” who try to set societal standards.  People like Biden and Obama, the Democratic Party, the media, Hollywood, academia.  It has filtered down to all of us, to one degree or another.  It will swing back eventually, probably after producing a true disaster and the “woke” wake up.  We should pray it happens soon.
