That which is considered “Hate Speech” in the United States is badly in need of being updated. Hate speech is generally considered to be any form of expression that is intended to vilify, humiliate or incite hatred against a group or class of persons. If we accept this definition of hate speech, then we are past the point of placing the terms “racist”, “racism”, and “Jim Crow” on the list of hate speech in the American lexicon.

Rational and objective minds should quickly realize that any particular race or ethnic group can be subjected to discriminatory and abusive behavior by any other group. In light of the preferred discourse of President-in-name-only Joe Biden and leaders in the Democrat party, the terms “racist”, “racism” and “Jim Crow” can only be interpreted as a convenient way to spread hateful, divisive and harmful sentiments in American society, specifically about Republicans or any group promoting ideas contrary to those advanced by Democrats. Reverse discrimination is very real with Biden and the Democrats.

Clearly words that are directed at a race with the intent of causing insult, injury and harm to that particular group are clearly unacceptable. Just as the “N-word” rightfully deserves derision, so too are words like “racism”, “racist” or “Jim Crow” be harmful and hurtful to whites. These terms have become the knee jerk response to and label for virtually any political proposal by conservatives. In fact, these terms have become so ubiquitous in Democrat parlance that virtually all conservative whites are “racists” and “Jim Crow” supporters.

In The Dictatorship of Woke Capital: How Political Correctness Captured Big Business, Stephen Soukup argues that for nearly a century, the Left has been waging a methodical battle for control of our Western institutions. He says Capitalism and American Big Business have remained the last redoubt for those who believed in free people, free markets, and the necessity of private property. But over the past two decades, that has changed, and the Left has taken its long march to overcome these last remaining non-leftist institutions that fear cancel culture will hurt their enterprise.

Democrats began doubling down on their use of this form of hate speech during the 2020 election and summer riots as a proscription against conservatives. The MSM, borrowing directly from Black Lives Matter, regurgitated the allegation that the U.S. was a “systemic racist” nation, using Nikole Hannah-Jones’ 1619 Project as their hallowed premise. These claims were made despite the fact that many blacks in America themselves refute such allegations

Despite nearly fifty years of national and local affirmative action programs and colleges at all levels, now ignoring minority scores on the SAT, GMAT, MCAT, GRE and LSAT along with the ubiquitous black dominance in most professional sports, a significant percentage of blacks in professional occupations, in government, entertainment, broadcast and music industries, Joe Biden and the Democrats falsely claim national “systemic racism”. A national sample of college students by the Heterodox Academy found that 62 percent of them feel the climate on their campus prevents them from saying what they believe, an increase from 55 percent in 2019. Not surprisingly, a NBC News/Wall Street Journal Survey produced different polling results supporting (with a measly sample of 900 registered voters) their contention that voters in growing numbers believe that Black and Hispanic Americans are discriminated against. As one of us has documented earlier, modern MSM polling is filled with something called “demand characteristic” which means it was designed in such a way to ensure the results the media wants.

Since taking office in January 2021, the Biden administration and their progressive coterie have continued their false narrative of ‘systemic racism” through new government regulations and recommended guidelines. All government agencies and public enterprises are being directed to advance diversity and reduce “white dominance,” now to the detriment of their core businesses. The process and goal of such actions were clearly manifested in the diversity training required at the Coca-Cola Company based on Critical Race Theory (CRT). A component of this training required attendees to watch a film with the theme on how to “be less white”. The film asserted that whites need to be less arrogant, less oppressive, less certain, less ignorant, and less defensive. The training continued to instruct whites to be humbler, to listen, break with apathy and white solidarity. Corporate trainers insist that “perfectionism,” “intellectualism,” and “objectivity” are all vestiges of internalized racism and must be abandoned in favor of social justice standards. Imagine how our nation would respond to national training programs promoting being less black or brown!

For those more fortunate not to have been schooled in the take over of sound theory-building by the likes of Jürgen Habermas, Michel Foucault and Theodor W. Adorno, critical theory attempts to employ Marxism, postmodernism, and feminism as a philosophical foundation. This nonsense became infused in most of the American academy by the 1980’s. We now learn that U.S. Military commanders are indoctrinating CRT into military training such that officers will now be woke. Senator Cotton recently introduced a bill prohibiting CRT being used in military training; sadly, the left has already begun to migrate woke culture into every aspect of American life, including the United States Military.

Make no mistake about this, these are heavily intentioned actions. Progressives are also intent on brain washing students from kindergarten to twelfth grade by transplanting this philosophy in K-12 schools and corporate board rooms. Rephrasing a song from Bob Dylan’s great album, Highway 61 Revisited, “Everybody must get woke.

CRT has rapidly become the basis of diversity training in corporations and our educational system.  Such programs against whites couldn’t be more misguided or detrimental to this nation. Biden and his minions now have the upper hand in fast tracking this Marxist philosophy into mainstream America.  As a nation we would be wise to keep in mind the old adage that ‘burning down your neighbor’s house, will not make yours any better.’ Similarly, one race should not be diminished or denigrated in an attempt to lift another.

The Chinese Communist Party is enjoying this ongoing subversion of America into a position of world-wide weakness.
