The Left loves lawfare and has no intention of forsaking it. As such, in a completely absurd ruling, a judge decided that Donald Trump must pay E. Jean Carroll $83.5 million, apparently for Trump having expressed displeasure with the lady’s accusations, character, and behavior.
Trump proceeded with a counterclaim, which was rejected in December 2024. Then he requested a subsequent hearing, which was denied in June 2025. The judgments against him are now $88.3 million.
Laws as Ad Hominem Attacks
As astute conservatives know, New York specifically changed its law so it could go after Trump, although the statute of limitations originally had been over for decades. Carroll claims that Trump accosted her in Bergdorf Goodman’s, a rather popular and often crowded Manhattan store, but there were no witnesses, she did not cry out, she can't remember the day, month or year, and to top it all off, she waited more than two decades to make her claim.
Even a layperson would conclude that if her character might have somehow been besmirched, $88.3 million in compensation is far in excess of any potential damages. Many aspects of her claims and her case are so weak you have to simply shake your head. She is approaching 82 years old. One million annually for the next 10 years, even in New York, would be more than adequate compensation if, indeed, you believe that Donald Trump is guilty as charged.
On the heels of that case, a narcissistic judge in New York, as we all know, decided that Trump owed at least $355 million, apparently to the state of New York for a victimless ‘crime’ on top of another $100 million in penalties.
Most people don't make $100 million in their entire lives, let alone $3 million, and even if they do, after personal expenses, they'd be lucky if they cleared $700,000. Yet, these judges feel sufficiently bold to make these proclamations as to what someone whom they personally dislike owes to others.
But Wait, There’s More!
To add insult to injury, the narcissistic New York judge decided that Donald Trump, Jr., and Eric Trump also owed $4 million, again, to no particular victim and no particular defendant; they simply owed the money!
If the fanatical Left, which no longer even attempts to hide its sordid strategies and tactics, is unceasingly going to put Republican nominees through the mill, what if nominees are not billionaires? What if they have only a couple million or less in net worth?
Mark Robinson, then the lieutenant governor of North Carolina, made an astute observation. He said if anyone else was running in 2024 in Trump's place — someone who had the same political inclinations and made the same campaign promises — the Left would viciously attack that person, as they do with Trump.
Maybe the rancor would wind down a bit, because Trump's tweets and his outspokenness anger some people. Still, he is a placeholder for the angst that the Left feels for any GOP presidential nominee, let alone lesser offices throughout the land.
Fines Upon Fines
Until Leftists are sufficiently vanquished, their wrath and insane zeal prompt them to feel as if they can go after Republican nominees with impunity.
Suppose a Ted Cruz or Marco Rubio, or for that matter Nikki Haley or Josh Hawley, had been the Republican nominee in 2024. Would state and city district attorneys have drummed up cases and sought fines commensurate with each person's net worth? If so, that raises a curious legal issue. Trump, being rich, is the victim of discrimination; one cannot be charged simply for being rich.
Such lawfare is disheartening to anyone who believes in the rule of law, impartial judges, fair trials, sound verdicts, and effective resolution. With the verdict in the Trump “hush money” trial, featuring Stormy Daniels, what has been occurring in America mirrors what takes place in many of the world’s rogue regimes.
It is sobering to contemplate how far and how fast we might have fallen had Trump not been re-elected. Joe Biden’s puppet masters already had sought to make a huge dent in our legal system, on their way to destroying our society. Trump’s re-election literally saved us, for now.
Arraign Them All
Upon victory, Biden or Harris — or any other figurehead whom the Left wanted to run for president — would have rapidly decimated the country and in much less than a four-year term. Indeed, within four years or less, any future president on the Left is likely to do us in.
For that reason alone, all the contemporary Democrat lawbreakers and traitors need to be arraigned, as soon as possible, so that whoever remains among Democrats to run for president has fewer senior miscreants to appoint or call upon.
