Dan Bongino Declares War on 'Grifters and Bums' as He Plans to Return to the Airwaves

Dan Bongino had some choice words for what he called "black-pillers, life-losers, grifters and bums" as he prepares to return to his show, following nine and a half months serving as the Deputy Director of the FBI under the Trump administration.

"Let me add this, from the jump, so there’s NO confusion," he wrote on X Monday. "I started in this movement as a candidate during the Tea Party movement, and I began my political commentary career shortly thereafter. I helped build this movement and I sure as hell am not going to let it get hijacked by a group of black-pillers, life-losers, grifters and bums."

We are a movement guided by truth. The essence of conservative ideology is the preservation of eternal truths. We are not the “latest thing” group. We are not political cannibals. I’ve watched quietly from the inside while doing the job I was hired to do, but I’m back now, and it’s time to restore balance to the force.

As we get ready to make some announcements about the future of the show, I also want to warn the haters and the zeroes - we’ve been at this a long time. We live for this stuff. This isn’t our first, second or tenth rodeo. We’ve seen a lot dipshits come and go. We revel in making you angry enough to show your asses. It’s glorious.

“We’ve got midterms coming up, and there’s no time for bullsh*t. This administration is cooking and REAL change simmers. If you’re spending your entire day b*tching and whining with 3/4ths of the term still to go, then please find the exits,” he added. “There’s no time for it. It’s not ‘infighting’ when you excise a cancer killing the host. It’s ‘outfighting’ because you’re not part of any movement I’m familiar with.”

This comes shortly after an apparent civil war amongst the thought leaders of conservatism erupted at Turning Point USA's annual AmericaFest in December.

While many have lauded the broad coalition that helped usher PResdient Turmp into his second term, some are worried that the coalition has begun to include people who are not genuine conservatives, or who plan on hijacking President Trump's base following his departure from office.

Ben Shapiro was the first at AmericaFest to call out who he thought were trying to hijack the movement, including  Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, and Nick Fuentes. He also called out those on the right who refuse to call out the cancer growing within the movement.

Many have accused Shapiro and those who agree with him of attempting to cancel the commentators he has called out, but no such claim has been made. Rather, Shapiro has specifically called on conservatives, who claim to be principled, to police their own ideology in an attempt to ensure it is not captured by those who do not represent us.

Now, Bongino has entered the fray alongside Shapiro, vowing to use his platform not only to root out the cancer on the American right but also to keep the focus squarely on victory in the coming year, a victory for real conservatives.
