The Democratic Party has a jihad problem, it seems. In New Jersey, Adam Hamawy just won the Democratic primary for the House. Hamawy has ties to Al-Qaida, including Omar Abdel-Rahman, the 'Blind Sheik,' who was sentenced to life in federal prison for his role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Abdul El-Sayed is the frontrunner for the Senate in Michigan. In New York, Islamist Zohran Mamdani is the mayor. In Minnesota, not only is Ilhan Omar a Congresswoman, but Somali fraudsters sent boatloads of money to Al-Shabaab, the Somalian terrorist group. In the same city, AOC wore a hijab while she was ignored during her remarks before a male-dominated Islamic prayer service. She called wearing that symbol of women's oppression and subjugation 'fun.'
Just a quarter century after Islamic terrorists killed nearly 3,000 innocent Americans, Democrats have embraced that fetid, backward, misogynistic ideology.
Yay, diversity, or something.
Because that's what this boils down to: Democrats see people who have a different skin color and culture than they do, and enthusiastically embrace those people, no matter how dangerous and deadly they are. Instead of having a reckoning with reality — that Islam is bad for the very groups Democrats claim to care about — they attack critics of Islam as bigoted, and make excuses for the most depraved behavior.
This includes Islam's practice of child brides. The Associated Press absolutely covered itself in glory by claiming the reason Islamists marry young girls is because of war. And it's all Israel's fault, of course.

Majda was destitute. Her husband and eldest son had been killed by Israeli airstrikes. Living in a ragged tent in Gaza with rats and the stench of sewage, she couldn’t support her children and feared her daughters would be harassed going to the communal latrine in a camp with hundreds of strangers.
So she made a decision she now deeply regrets. She married off her 13- and 14-year-old daughters to men who promised safety and support.
“I thought I was protecting them,” she said. “Fear was slaughtering me.”
The devastation that Israel’s campaign has wreaked in Gaza has helped fuel an increase in marriages of young girls, according to experts and official data. With almost the entire population driven from their homes, most living in squalid camps and dependent on aid, some parents have sought some financial stability for their teen daughters by giving them away in marriage.
This isn't the first time the media was sympathetic to the concept of child brides. The BBC tried to paint a Muslim father selling his young daughter into sexual slavery as the victim.
The irony of this should not be lost on any of us. In the same breath, the Left would have us believe that all Republicans — from President Trump on down to the local GOP dog catcher — are evil pedophiles or 'pedophile protectors,' only to turn around and find anyone and anything, to blame for the actual abuse of children that happens under Islam. In the same vein, they haven't met a career criminal child rapist or illegal alien sexual abuser they haven't wanted to cut loose from prison in the name of 'criminal justice reform.'
Their accusations are, as always, confessions.
But seeing as the Democrats seem keen on making Islam the party's official state religion, it behooves all of us to pay attention to where this is going. This ends badly not just for children (ask all the girls victimized by Islamist rape gangs in the U.K.), but for women, gays, and non-Muslim religious minorities. None of those groups can exist freely and peacefully when Islam is the political and theocratic norm. Democrats do not seem to care, however. They have embraced everything and anything that they believe will help them a) gain and maintain political power and b) destroy Western civilization in general and America in particular.
Democrats should be made to answer their embrace of terrorist sympathizers, terrorist supporters, and Muslim terrorist apologists.
But you won't see the AP asking those questions any time soon. They're too busy being press secretaries for Islam.
