Like so many criminals in America, the terrorist allegedly behind the Yom Kippur stabbing in Manchester, England, was out on bail at the time of his horrific crime.
Jihad Al-Shamie, 35, was born in Syria and moved to the UK as a child. On Thursday, he stabbed two Jews outside a synagogue, killing them. Several others were wounded (although the Met Police didn't help the situation).

Terrorist Jihad Al-Shamie was on bail for rape when he attacked a UK synagogue on Yom Kippur, according to reports.
The 35-year-old Syrian-born killer was under investigation for a sex crime committed earlier this year when he plowed his car into worshippers and went on a stabbing spree outside the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester on Thursday, The Guardian reported.
It is not clear when the rape took place, but it was being investigated by Greater Manchester Police — one of a number of crimes he is thought to have committed, a source said.

There's Decarlos Brown, Jr., the man who allegedly stabbed 23-year-old Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte, NC light rail train. Zarutska died of her injuries. Brown had been arrested at least 14 times prior to his fateful encounter with Zarutska.

We also told you about Logan Federico, the 22-year-old woman who was shot during a home invasion in Columbia, SC. Her alleged killer, 30-year-old Alexander Dickey, also has a lengthy criminal record consisting of 39 arrests including 25 for felony offenses. Logan's father, Steven Federico, told a House Judiciary Subcommittee, "And this wasn’t just a random go-in-and-shoot-somebody. This was a guy that was a career criminal. And that’s why I hate the word ‘random’ being used. He wasn’t a random criminal. He was a career criminal that came across my daughter… and literally stuck a gun in her rib cage and pulled the trigger, for absolutely no reason.”
But Indianapolis criminal Courtney Boose takes the cake. He was just arrested for the one-hundredth time for attempted murder. Boose, 41, stabbed a 69-year-old man at a gas station. Despite his triple-digit arrest record, Boose has served no time in prison and his charges in this most recent offense were downgraded from attempted murder to aggravated battery by Marion County Prosecutor Ryan Mears.
In the UK, guys like Shamie get similar treatment. Men accused of rape face little, if any, jail time and largely because of their ethnic and religious backgrounds. Instead, prisons are reserved for moms who make Facebook posts demanding violent, terroristic immigrants like Shamie get deported. For the year ending in March 2025, the UK had 71,667 reported rape cases. A decade prior, that number was just over 16,000.
Gangs of Muslims have raped and abused young British girls for years, often with police blaming the victims and siding with their attackers lest they appear "racist." You know the problem is primarily born of Islamic incompatibility with the West because Labour MPs are pushing to expand the definition of "Islamophobia" to include talking about those grooming gangs.
In remarks to the nation following the stabbing, Prime Minister Keir Starmer said, "I promise that I will do everything in my power to guarantee you the security you deserve." He never once mentioned radical Islam in his remarks.
That apparently doesn't include having a criminal justice system that keeps Islamic rapists and career criminals like Jihad al-Shamie behind bars. This decline is a choice, and it's one Western nations seem to be making on a daily basis.
