Our irresponsible military leadership has lied to the American people, and the disgrace of a Biden Administration is refusing to hold people accountable.
Last week, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who oversees the most powerful military on earth, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Walter Reed Medical Center. And no one was told about it – not President Joe Biden, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, or even the woman in charge of taking over his duties as Acting Defense Secretary.
This is a scandal of epic proportions.
The world is in chaos – Our ships and troops are being attacked by Houthi terrorists in Yemen, Russia has invaded and continues to bombard Ukraine, Israel is fighting Iranian-backed Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, North Korea is testing intercontinental ballistic missiles, and China is eyeing Taiwan. And where is the Defense Secretary? Incapacitated with no one in the chain of command knowing.
Initial reports from the Pentagon were that Sec. Austin had an "elective procedure," but we now know that was a lie. Earlier today, news broke that Sec. Austin has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, the treatment of which is far from "elective."
The lack of leadership, accountability, and incompetence seeping out of the Biden Administration is appalling and continuously puts our country at risk. What if a nuclear attack had occurred during the break in the chain of command?

This is not a Republicans "pounce," "seize," or "capitalize" moment, as the mainstream media will surely try to spin it. This is about the safety of the American people and our men and women in the military, as well as our right to know the health status of those put in charge to lead our great nation.
It is time to impeach Lloyd Austin, and others need to be held accountable at DOD.
