Nothing to Hide

If there is nothing to hide, why are so many social media platforms and politicians working so hard to silence dissent and any counter opinions, no matter how well founded. Instead of silencing others, let those crazy conservatives speak and spout their "lies" so that people can see how unfounded their positions are.

Any attempts to question the 2020 election are met with outrage, shame, and derision. If conservatives are supporting "the big lie" about a stolen election, then let them embarrass themselves by letting their "obviously
false" claims come to light. When all else fails, you can always call people names. Confront facts with facts, not name calling.

Mike Lindell invested millions in his three-day Cyber Symposium sharing real evidence that every state's election results were compromised. He's not just asking you to believe him; he's calling for every state to conduct forensic audits under watchful eyes from both parties. If states have nothing to hide, embrace this great opportunity to prove him wrong. If you didn't see his symposium, check out his public site, and explore it yourself.

Everyone wants to move on from the last election, but how do you move on when you have an election system that can clearly be compromised and hacked by China. There is no America without free and secure elections that are trusted by all Americans. If Biden won fair and square, what do they have to hide? If there were no hacks, let the evidence come to light. Do the forensic audits and gloat that Mike Lindell and all the conservative crazies were clearly wrong. But don't think you can silence facts with personal attacks while failing to even report his findings.

Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis in the Whitney opinion said what many in America have always believed is critical to our cherished freedom of speech: "If there be time to expose through discussion the falsehood and
fallacies, to avert the evil by the process of education, the remedy to be applied is more speech, not enforced silence."

The best response to hate speech is more speech, not more controls. Tolerance to the left is only tolerance for speech that supports their narrative. Counter opinions are considered hateful, racist, not supported by "science," and certainly inconvenient to politicians who want only their talking points to be heard. They want them blocked on YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter. It's clear the Left think they define truth. If so, what do they
have to fear?

You want us to accept your absurd mandates. You keep asking organizations and businesses to require vaccination. But why get vaccinated if you still have to wear masks? You tell me you are committed to protecting Americans from COVID while letting infected illegal immigrants into our country by the thousands. Then you have the audacity to make citizens pay for transporting the infected to communities throughout the country. Such choices are motivating many Americans to vote for change in the 2022 midterm elections.

So what do the Senate Democrats try to do early on Wednesday August 10th at 3:30 AM? They tried to pass by unanimous consent The For the People Act designed to federalize elections. Thankfully, all it took was one patriotic senator to destroy their plans. Republican Senator Ted Cruz was there to break their unanimous vote. His words on the floor of the Senate are worth repeating:

"This bill would constitute a federal government takeover of elections. It would constitute a massive power grab by Democrats. It would disenfranchise millions of Americans and it would do precisely the opposite of its nominal title, 'For The People.' It is, instead, for the politicians because it entrenches politicians and ensures that the people cannot vote them out of office. It would strike down virtually every reasonable voter integrity law in the country, including voter I.D. laws supported by the overwhelming majority of this country, including prohibitions on ballot harvesting, again widely supported by people in this country. It would mandate that felons be allowed to vote, and it would automatically register millions of illegal aliens to vote. It would profoundly undermine democracy in this country, and for that reason I object."

Why did Democrats hold the vote at 3:30 am? The answer is obvious. They have no interest in bipartisan solutions to election reform. They feel no ethical commitment to transparency and civil deliberation. They aren't hiding their goals. Democrats will do everything they can to federalize elections, negate states' rights, and ensure control of Washington at whatever the cost. Stopping such partisan abuse in an evenly divided America should concern every patriot that wants to keep America secure and free. Join those demanding fair elections we can trust.
