Robert Gelinas is an executive officer, and Board of Directors member of The American Rifle and Pistol Association, Inc., and The American Rifle and Pistol Association Educational Foundation, Inc.
Mr. Gelinas, a decorated veteran of the United States Air Force, has been in the software and information technology industry for over 30 years, working for a variety of Fortune 100 corporations early in his career, and then gravitating into the high-growth entrepreneurial world of high-tech startups in the late 1990's, primarily concentrated in the field of IT Security. Mr. Gelinas currently serves as the CEO of AppXoft, LLC, a multinational software development corporation. In addition to his technology sector experience, Mr. Gelinas has authored six commercially published novels, and in 2003, founded ArcheBooks Publishing, an independent trade publishing house for hardcover and digital fiction, focused on debuting new authors to the publishing industry. Mr. Gelinas is a native of Texas, an avid outdoorsman, and a life-long musician, playing regularly in a classic rock band called Suburban Whiskey, based in Austin, TX.
