Would Jefferson Have Told You What Kind of Horse You Could Buy?

Can you imagine what the American people would have thought, said, and done, in 1801, if President Thomas Jefferson had tried to get Congress to pass legislation telling them what kind of horse they could buy?

Further, what would the reaction have been if Jefferson had announced that his government was going to control the weather (which, incidentally, had warmed significantly in the 18th century)? That men who claimed to be women were “created in the image of God”? That men could “marry” men and women could “marry” women with God’s blessing, and he was going to support the mutilation of children so they could “choose” their own “gender” at any age they wanted to before puberty?

Just think of what the response would have been among the American people if Thomas Jefferson, their President, had said the above things. First, they would have thought he wasn’t serious—“this must be a joke, Jefferson is kidding.” But then, if they concluded he was serious, they would have laughed him to scorn and derision. To think that Congress could tell an individual what kind of horse he had to buy. Pure poppycock.

If Jefferson had done the above and the American people believed he truly meant it, they would probably have finally concluded that Jefferson had lost his mind, that he was...too old (he was 57 when he was elected President), or that he was...senile. Or had dementia.

Jefferson would never have been elected for a second term in 1804. He wouldn’t even have been on the ballot as wiser heads would have prevailed and made sure that such stupidity, immorality, and tyranny never became President. Not in the early 1800s.

But a senile, demented man who believes he has the power to tell you what kind of car you can drive, who thinks that the government can control the weather, who believes men can become women and visa-versa and “marry,” with God’s approval, people of the same sex, who believes that gender is a “choice” that CHILDREN can make—THAT is what the American people (supposedly) elected President in 2020.

And the Democratic Party can’t make up its collective mind whether they want THAT on their Presidential ticket this year. Many of them seem willing to give THAT four more years in the most powerful political position on earth.

THAT is what America has sunk to. No, this is not “progress.” This is as substantial a deterioration into decadence and collective insanity as any nation in human history has ever descended.

One source of the problem is the fact that Americans have totally ignored—and rejected—the system of government established by our Founding Fathers. The Founders never intended for a person to have the power a President now has—and Joe Biden is a perfect example why. It would never even have crossed Thomas Jefferson’s mind to tell the people what kind of horse they could buy or that the government could control the climate. If one of his advisors had suggested to Jefferson—”Mr. Jefferson, because of the climate, we think Morgans are superior horses to Appaloosas and you ought to get Congress to pass a law forcing the American people to buy Morgans. Appaloosas flatulate more than Morgans do and are causing the rise in temperatures we’ve seen the past few decades and government has to stop that”—if someone had proposed that to Jefferson, he would have fallen out of his chair laughing in hysteria. Frankly, I’m laughing right now just writing about it.

But that’s what at least half of the American people voted for in 2020, and are preparing to vote for again this year.

Read Article 2, Sections 2 and 3 of our Constitution. Four paragraphs that define the powers of the President. It might take you two minutes to read them, if you are a slow reader.

The problem is—and even our great Founding Fathers, as much as they tried, could not cure it—the evil desire for power that resides in the human breast. Joe Biden is a very mediocre man, at best. He always has been. He has one overriding characteristic that has dominated his personality all his life—his ambition, his lust for power, and he still (or his wife does) has enough mental capability to retain that dominant personal trait. He has no exceptional ability to lead people: his limited intelligence and wisdom, his lack of personal strength of character, and certainly his utter moral degeneracy make him totally unfit to lead other people anywhere—except downhill into a sewer, which is exactly what he has done for the last 3.5 years.

Our Founding Fathers tried, desperately, to keep people like Joe Biden from ever obtaining power, especially on the national level. But sadly, their grand experiment in protecting the American people from tyrants has largely failed.

And the evidence of that failure is overwhelming: Joe Biden and the Washington, D.C. Deep State.

Evil exists everywhere and it always has and always will. But when it gets power, that’s when it becomes excessively dangerous, and we should be frightened, very frightened. Just look at what happened in the Soviet Union, Nazi Germany, Communist China, and a whole host of other countries where evil became politically dominant. The loss of freedom, the endless poverty and misery of the masses, the incalculable number of innocent deaths of people who wanted nothing more than to be left alone to live a decent life with their families and friends—that’s what Leftist power has done the last 100 years, and did, even sometimes in the name of religion, countless times down through history. And it’s all Joe Biden and the Democratic Party live for.

That’s what makes them so dangerous and so terrifying.

Better go buy the horse of your choice right now before you won’t be able to any more.
