Firing Healthcare Workers Gives Up the Left's Game

Last month, in order to distract away from the catastrophe unfolding in Afghanistan, with hundreds of Americans and thousands of green card holders deliberately left behind and subject to the Taliban, President Joe Biden cynically announced a federal Wuhan coronavirus vaccine mandate for companies with over 100 employees.

But weeks later, the move looks like a vicious threat to scare businesses and corporations into implementing some kind of mandate before the feds come knocking. Despite OSHA being responsible for the rule, it hasn't been published yet.

"We never gave an exact timeline, so maybe we should have been more specific at the time. Obviously, it takes time, and we want to make sure when we put these out they are clear, and they provide guidance necessary to businesses," White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said earlier this week, responding to a question about when the rule can be expected. "I can't give you a timeline. OSHA's working on them, but obviously, hopefully, we'll know more in the coming weeks."

Regardless, the continued isolation and punishment of the "unvaccinated" continues to escalate.

In New York, newly-minted Governor Kathy Hochul just announced plans to fire thousands of nurses and other healthcare workers. She plans to replace them with National Guard troops and foreign workers.

"I am monitoring the staffing situation closely, and we have a plan to increase our health care workforce and help alleviate the burdens on our hospitals and other health care facilities. I commend all of the health care workers who have stepped up to get themselves vaccinated, and I urge all remaining health care workers who are unvaccinated to do so now so they can continue providing care," Hochul's office released. "Other options include deployment of medically-trained National Guard members, and partnering with the federal government to deploy Disaster Medical Assistance Teams (DMATs) to assist local health and medical systems. Additionally, Governor Hochul plans to work with the federal government and other state leaders to explore ways to expedite visa requests for medical professionals."

These are the same workers exposed to the virus almost daily last year and hailed as heroes on the frontlines of the pandemic.

The White House is watching this play out with glee and is ghoulishly celebrating an "increase in vaccinations," failing to note the horrific choice they've forced American individuals and families to make: lose their livelihood or take a medical treatment they do not want, need or are morally opposed to.

But firing thousands of healthcare workers gives up the Left's game. If we can afford to do so, then the heroes of last year being easily discarded now for refusing vaccination proves the pandemic is over.

And yet, the restrictions on our lives from power-hungry politicians continue.

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) has introduced legislation that would require vaccination or expensive testing for domestic air travel. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg has considered implementing the same.

Meanwhile, Americans should look to Australia for direction on why it's important to push back on tyrannical government requirements for a virus with a survival rate of 98.2 percent, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

The police in the supposedly free country are cracking people's skulls, strangling women and shooting at protestors in the name of protecting the nation from the virus. They're also pepper spraying old women and violently attacking citizens who dare to step outdoors without a face mask (one that was likely made with cheap, ineffective paper in China).

Firing healthcare workers and cracking skulls to protect us from Wuhan coronavirus? It makes no sense, and any logical American should reject this gaslighting from their government.
