The status quo for abortion changed with the announcement of the Supreme Court ruling on the Dobbs case. Now that states are freed to set their own rules on abortion, women facing unexpected pregnancies will need more help to navigate their situation in the midst of changing abortion laws.

Searching the internet will continue to be an important tool for women to understand all their options.

But not if pro-abortion Democrat politicians have their way.

In a recent letter to Google, these federal lawmakers demanded women seeking pregnancy help be funneled only toward abortion in their internet queries, clearly  beholden to political funding from Big Abortion. Why else would they seek to censor life-affirming pregnancy help centers from being found through Google?

When they use the pejorative term “fake clinic” in their letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai, these elected representatives intentionally deny the truth that pregnancy help medical clinics provide licensed healthcare like ultrasound and STD/STI testing/treatment. These abortion allies do this to help Big Abortion box out its most effective competition.

To be clear, this letter requests that Google censor both paid ads and organic search results leading to pregnancy help organizations. This means that abortion would be the only option women would find when searching online looking for information about abortion – a billion-dollar industry.

What’s worse is that they are intentionally calling on Google to potentially aid in illegal abortions.

With the Supreme Court ruling to overturnRoe v. Wade, the abortion discussion falls back on each individual state. That means that some states like New York will allow abortion up until birth, while other states like Arizona will likely ban nearly all abortions. If Google conceded these demands, it could actually be encouraging the promotion of illegal and downright dangerous procedures.

How does this provide women with choice?

If Google were to capitulate to such an attack on free speech, it would be blocking women from finding the very type of services that will help them to not have to choose a possibly illegal abortion. These Democrat officials seem to be supportive of women disobeying the law and using Google as an accomplice.

All of this arises from the insidious efforts to defame pregnancy help by an abortion activist group called Centre for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH).

Initially tucked into a capitalist tabloid, Fortune magazine, is the newest screed by CCDH that targets digital advertisers who have the temerity to maintain a neutral position on abortion. The rationale for the call to action against pregnancy help organizations? In a recent study, CCDH reports that in just 11 percent of their online searches for abortion, a pregnancy center came up on the first page in the search results.

What CCDH conveniently fails to mention is that abortion is now a nearly entirely digitally acquired product.

Guttmacher recently revealed abortions, after a 30-year decline, are on the increase. This is driven by the rapid rise in chemical abortions being made possible through digital sources that provide mail-order or “DIY” abortions, taking doctors out of the equation altogether. Shockingly CCDH equates “digital hate” to helping women choose life.

Under the guise of protecting women, these pro-abortion lawmakers are calling for censorship of any option other than abortion. Every woman deserves to have information on all her pregnancy options. By pressing for the censorship of pregnancy help medical clinics that provide such information, these elected Democrat officials are actually advocating to deny women the care they seek.

The CCDH and the Democrat lawmakers’ pressuring Google on abortion ads is all about demanding the tech company’s adherence to abortion supremacy and profit. Big Abortion’s minions are working overtime to try to keep women uninformed and protect the abortion bottom line.
