Anti-Social Media – WASHINGTON POST

  • Sure sounds like a serious case of lying and misinformation – in other words, no punishment will likely be carried out.

Well, Taylor Lorenz is at it again. She is in a mess because while attending a White House event, she posted a selfie with Joe Biden in the background and a caption read "War Criminal." When this post was spotted and reported in the New York Post, Lorenz attempted to say the image was inaccurate. It has since been learned that the post was made, and her story has changed to a friend created the caption and she shared it in a private chat on Instagram.

The amusement is that Lorenz is self-positioned as a social media expert, and here she has cast herself in a realm of trouble through a social media screwup of her own making.

Pulitzer Prize Nomination – THE DAILY MAIL

  • Basically, if they keep covering these inconsequential items, they can avoid his record and policies.

Once again, there is a new scandal with JD Vance. And, once again, it has nothing to do with his political record. This time, the Daily Mail Online thinks it has hit upon something big. As we’ll see, they are the only ones thinking this way.

The outlet has dug up a photograph from Vance’s high school yearbook where he is standing in a bathroom and three girls are positioned in front of urinals. It was a gag shot for the student government. What is the relevance of this photo from over two decades ago?

Democrats have for weeks been pushing their narrative that JD Vance is 'weird' around women. While the picture was meant as a lighthearted take on school life it can't help but add to the perception that Vance, now 40, will have to shake.

So, this is the entirety of this exposé. They found something from Vance's school days they can try to add to the current narrative sold by the Harris campaign that "Vance is weird." Hey, this will occupy their time so they do not need to pressure Kamala on producing her policy agenda and speaking to the press.

Gilded Reframe – CNN

  • Well, it has only been a war for 10 months and they get around to learning what sparked the conflict.

Take your pick as to what is more ludicrous in this coverage from CNN Digital. Is it the fact that it is still repeating fed talking points from the Gaza Health Ministry, which has been known to be a Hamas-connected group and delivering flawed casualties data all along? Or is it the un-sly fashion it tries to state that Israel was the side that started this conflict?

Both Kinds of Standards – US BORDER PATROL

  • Maybe in some ways, journalists are just as dangerous...?

In a dose of possible misapplied standards, as the border is a constant controversy of roiling problems, we have a case of BP offices looking to address the problem of – journalists finding things out?

NewsNation's border correspondent Ali Bradley showed an email sent out to agents that they should be on a state of heightened awareness due to recent developments. This was not regarding the whereabouts of potential terrorists but to be aware of the possible presence of Ali Bradley in the area!

News Avoidance Syndrome – MSNBC

  • Apparently, this was making Kamala look bad…

Maybe it is considered balanced reporting that since Kamala Harris refuses to conduct news conferences, MSNBC will not cover Trump's. You know, just to level the playing field.

Nicolle Wallace has actually come forward to announce that due to some type of "threat," the network has elected not to show Trump's pressers.

Given that this is a fine dose of predictive analysis, maybe the network can apply this psychic skill set to Kamala's campaign and explain to the viewers what her undeclared political agenda looks like!

Race to the Bottom – CNN

  • If we screech about this for five minutes, it will fill the segment and avoid the important stuff!

On Abby Phillip's show Thursday night, she gathered a panel of guests that included Rep. Nancy Mace, and the entire segment ground to a halt because Mace apparently committed the biggest infraction seen this election season – she mispronounced the name Kamala Harris.

This has been a common refrain from left-wing pundits, and it is made all the more obtuse when you see times over the years when Harris herself has pronounced it differently. But this was considered such an affrontery by guests Michael Eric Dyson and Keith Boykin, the two men ganged up and refused to allow any discussion to continue.
