Presentation Paradox – VARIOUS NETWORKS

  • The onscreen tension is high…depending on what network you are watching.

Not to suggest that the news nets were beyond bursting at the seams for the Donald Trump verdict to be rendered by the jury – instead, we'll show you proof of it.

For reasons that defy newsworthiness, multiple outlets felt the need to go with the count-up timer on screen for how long the Trump trial jury was deliberating. Just to go along with the other impacted and error-prone trial coverage we have seen, the networks could not even get the actual start times of the deliberation correct.

DNC PR Firm – CNN

  • This makes the past months of obsessive coverage look rather fruitless.

Ahead of the guilty verdict being handed down, CNN had to grapple with a dose of reality. In looking over public opinion polls regarding the lawfare put into action by the Democrats, the results are less than encouraging for the press.

After all that time spent, there has been no noticeable change in the public perception of Trump prior to this trial up to today.

Legalized Press-titution – MSNBC

  • Does Andy realize he was on a hot mic, during a live broadcast?!

There is no better way to crush your legal professional respect than behaving like a fan-girl over the barrister presiding over the case you are emotionally invested in coming to conclusion.

MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann is about two steps away from "pulling a Toobin" it seems. He was on live television proclaiming how he has a crush on Judge Juan Merchan.

Just "Yikes" at the cringe, Andy…

Low-Octane Gaslighting – SLATE

Over at Slate, it has a SCORCHING exposé by Bill Pruitt. He is a former producer from NBC who worked on "The Apprentice," and he is now going public and spilling the tea because his non-disclosure agreement from his tenure on the show has just expired.

The bulk of the piece is about how the producers manipulated much of the imaging and the show was edited in a favorable fashion. This comes as a surprise to exactly…nobody. Anyone who thought reality TV was in any way realistic, well there is not much more to say to such people. The most scathing component of this article is a "shocking" revelation that during a meeting, Trump said The N-word, regarding a contestant. This is not exactly news, given it is a 20-year-old anecdote and Pruitt claims it was said on tape yet said tape does not actually exist. Also, Slate trotted out this very story roughly eight years ago, and it never once was granted traction as a legitimate story.

Low-Octane Gaslighting – DENVER POST

  • Her opinion that the Justice has no evidence for his opinions is rooted in no evidence.

Megan Schrader is an editor for the opinion section of the Denver Post, and we might say she is properly placed at the paper. She certainly has opinions about Justice Samuel Alito. Schrader jumps on the bandwagon of those in the media calling for Alito to step down, and just like most of the others, she does so without offering anything approaching proof of wrongdoing.

The real amusement is how Megan charges that Alito is a proponent of the Stop The Steal movement, and her primary evidence is that after Alito has been accused of this "he has not said otherwise."

Race to the Bottom – SPECTATOR

  • We have to guess his interview was with the mirror...?

Sam Forster wrote a book about racism. The way he collected material is utterly hilarious. Sam decided to "go undercover" – as a black person – and traveled the United States to collect examples of hatred. In other words, just like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, he adorned himself in blackface – to accuse other people of being racist.
