Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – WASHINGTON POST
"Let me lay out all the evidence before I dispute what is contained therein."
Special Counsel Robert Hur testified before Congress this morning, and in conjunction with his appearance came the release of the transcripts from his hotly-contested interview with President Joe Biden. This was the infamous interrogation where Hur declared Biden mentally unfit to stand trial, and the press had a collective fit over his impressions.
Among the many things revealed in this interview was Biden's frequently meandering off-topic. He introduced topics such as a case of a person having their testicles severed, the different crown moldings found at his residence, bringing up his Corvette and even providing the sounds of the car. Yes, that appears in these documents.
Matt Viser provided a flood of these pages on his timeline, but after we marvel over the blatant signs of a mind deteriorating, the sympathetic scribe from The Post had this conclusion drawn:

Hur urged Biden to “really try to get your best recollection” from events years earlier.

“I’m a young man,” Biden joked, “so it’s not a problem.”
Months later, Hur cast him as a “elderly man with a poor memory.” And it would, indeed, become a problem.https://t.co/xgautA9Rbf

Do we ignore our lying eyes or ignore your own network?
At CBS News, reporter and Biden Defense Team Specialist Weijia Jiang rushed to the defense of Joe Biden, stating that he was fired up because Robert Hur claimed Joe had forgotten when his son Beau died.
The President was fired up about Hur’s claim that he couldn’t remember when his son Beau died… because it was false. He immediately said the date, according to the interview transcript.

Notable was Ms. Jiang provided that link to a CBS News item that…reports how Biden did get the date incorrect, as he had to be fed the correct year from his handlers in the room.
Also notable was Jiang not indicating that as Biden was "fired up" that Hur brought up the subject of Beau Biden's death, the transcripts clearly show it was Joe who voluntarily introduced that topic to the proceedings.

Maybe he should apologize to his campaign staff…
Is this regarded as bad news for the Biden campaign or MSNBC?
TRICK QUESTION: It can be both!
It was on Saturday when Joe Biden sat with Jonathan Capehart for an interview. This was when Biden addressed the issue of calling the alleged murderer of Laken Riley an illegal immigrant. The ratings came back for that session, and somehow, the network finished well behind CNN in the timeslot.
When you cannot even generate interest on MSNBC…
The numbers are in for Jonathan Capehart's hyped interview with Joe Biden. And this is truly embarrassing:

The friendly conversation drew only 732,000 total viewers and just 62,000 in the 25-54 demo, placing MSNBC last in both categories behind Fox News and CNN when it aired. https://t.co/hi3WKbEEq4
Presentation Paradox – SLATE
How many pieces will you run on other people's alleged obsession?
Sure it is a click-bait-ready topic, but seriously, do you expect to be taken seriously when you focus on the breasts of a starlet like this?!
At Slate, Heather Scwedel came out with a curious claim – she alleges that "The Far Right" believes that Sydney Sweeney's breasts have battled back the politically correct scourge in the country.
The far right thinks Sydney Sweeney killed wokeness. https://t.co/rXaSJBP5YR

So who on the far right is pushing this narrative? A Canadian newspaper, a British news outlet, and an account on Xitter. Well, that is a comprehensive list of proof!
Then, as if wanting to disprove its own boasting, Slate came out with yet another post on Sweeney's breasts days later, and it basically repeated all of the same claims, while insisting her breasts are not that large.
But sure, it is the far right obsessed over this. Or those.
It needs to be said: Sydney Sweeney's boobs are not that big https://t.co/L4hbmNEs9a
