News Avoidance Syndrome – VARIOUS OUTLETS
- When the man feeding the talking points cannot get the story right, it is best to avoid the story completely.
Following the news that the GOP oversight committee found a wire transfer from China to Hunter Biden with Joe's home address listed as the beneficiary, the press was faced with yet another round of denying there is any evidence. And you have not seen much in the way of reporting on this matter…at all.
The voice of late from the White House who has been feeding the talking points, Ian Sams, has had a tough day of it, attempting to spin the details of this new piece of "NOT-EVIDENCE," and the press, realizing his struggle, has basically avoided covering this new development at all.
- Sams stated the reason for the address listing is that Hunter was staying in Delaware during the pandemic. PROBLEM: The wire transfer was dated August 2019.
- Even if his explanation for why Hunter was in Delaware is in error, he clings to Hunter being in Delaware. PROBLEM: Sams also is hung up on another fact. Hunter's lawyers established during his IRS trial that he had been living in California.
- Sensing he needed to massage things, Sams next describes Hunter not as "living" at the Delaware house but "listing" the address as his for the sake of work. PROBLEM: This is the period of his life with numerous legal wranglings that have been excused because Hunter was under the grip of his drug addiction. PROBLEM: If he was in so much "turmoil," how was he able to secure serious work with a Chinese company with a huge salary?
- Sams next bounced off of a clip from a presser where a reporter challenged Joe Biden's involvement when he was not in office, nor even a candidate. PROBLEM: Joe announced his candidacy in April 2019, and this wire transfer took place months later.
- One last detail never attended is that Sams is making it normalized that Hunter was working for China and being paid an exorbitant amount. PROBLEM: Joe had spent years declaring no one in his family was receiving money from China.

- Nothing else to be found in the news concerning this guy, huh?
As if to display the proof of the press running from this story like someone broke through the septic tank, Kasie Hunt had a sterling report on Joe Biden this morning. It concerned how the Octagenarian uses humor to fend off people commenting about his age.
If you can’t beat it, laugh about it! @IsaacDovere talks @kasie through his new reporting detailing how President Biden is using sarcasm and jokes to address his age. pic.twitter.com/P6rwnsrCuI

Low Octane Gas Lighting – ABC NEWS
- Was not aware that incompetence was enough to be dismissed from criminality.
Say, recall that other scandal involving Joe Biden? You know, the one involving his having classified documents that he was not supposed to possess…the one that showed he had those spread throughout the country…including those he was not authorized to see as a senator. Nor authorized to remove and take with him.
Yeah, that case is somehow still being investigated, while Trump's very similar documents case has already led to indictments. It appears this is a slow-roll investigation to run out the clock, with numerous witnesses being spoken to and many called upon a second time. This is all being set up to resemble a "thorough" and "exhaustive" investigation, only to clear his name ultimately:
Sources who were present for some of the interviews, including witnesses, told ABC News that authorities had apparently uncovered instances of carelessness from Biden's vice presidency, but that -- based on what was said in the interviews -- it seemed to them that the improper removal of classified documents from Biden's office when he left the White House in 2017 was more likely a mistake than a criminal act.
BREAKING: The federal probe into Pres. Biden's handling of classified documents prior to becoming president has grown into a sprawling investigation, sources say. https://t.co/J9tMYo3Dws

Pathological Media Amnesia – MSNBC
- We take this to mean that Scar-Joe and his crew do not watch his own network.
On "Morning Joe," we were treated to the usual blather from the seemingly ever-widening cast of characters, involving how bad Donald Trump is and how great of a job the very capable and fully cognizant Joe Biden has done. It was with amusement that panelist Jonathan Lemire declared that even though Biden was showing signs of mental degradation, "He's been able to do the job."
Oh…kay, Jon. But then he said something really daft:
I think we have been giving Donald Trump a pass too much because he was - frankly - always spoken like a crazy person.”
Wow. Try to imagine at what level of delusion you need to operate to think that the press has given Donald Trump a pass. Now imagine saying this as a member of MSNBC, which trafficks in Trump obsession at a near 24/7 clip. It was just yesterday when we showed that "Softfocus" Steve Schmidt was saying that Trump announcing he had a six-month plan for when he takes office again means he is exactly like Hitler.
Here is your laugh-line of the day:

- Just going to say it – this is not any way to get us to watch competitive chess.
On "Piers Morgan Uncensored," the host was speaking with Hans Nieman, the chess champion, and he dared to go to a rather dark place regarding rumors swirling around his name. For some time now, there has been the wild theory that Nieman cheated to achieve his level of dominance by having signaling coming in from an outside source.
There is a rather salacious conspiracy that this is being done via a sexual pleasure device that he has inserted in…well, about the only place a man can insert something. And Piers went there during the interview.
"This is not a question I ever thought I'd ask to be honest..."
