Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – NBC NEWS
Over at NBC News, they wanted to address a social problem that has emerged, but they do not realize what their approach to the issue has done. The issue revolves around the perceived problem of people who are choosing to change their race. This is, of course, a charged issue, as anything involving race is considered a third-rail topic. NBC News, in its explanation of why this is not something that is actually possible, manages to completely derail the concept of gender transitioning. Here is part of the reason:
Experts agree race is not genetic. But they contend that even though race is a cultural construct, it is impossible to change your race because of the systemic inequalities inherent to being born into a certain race.
Now, as they say it is impossible to do this changeover while acknowledging race is not genetic, by extension then someone claiming to become another gender should be even more impossible given that gender is genetic. But it goes farther. In speaking with a number of experts, NBC continues to completely disqualify the transitioning concept.
“It’s just belief,” said Jamie Cohen, an assistant professor of cultural and media studies at Queens College, City University of New York. “It doesn’t ever reallywork, because it’s not doing anything, but they have convinced themselves that it works because there’s [sic] other people who have convinced themselves, as well.”
Now how, exactly, will the media untangle this quandary when they are in a position to say you can not possibly change a non-biological reality, all while demanding we accept those who are changing their biological assignment?

Low Octane Gas Lighting – CNN
- Cassie wants to believe we have no way of checking the timeline.
On Sunday’s edition of “State Of The Union,” hostess Cassie Hunt had on GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy and the topic of the Florida school curriculum on slavery came up. This is a wholly media-created “non-troversy” that has been completely exposed as a sham, and yet Ms. Hunt continued to attempt to push this storyline. When faced with sane pushback from Ramaswamy, Hunt delivered a stunted explanation of the issue.
I do think it is worth underscoring that these criticisms have not come that we’re quoting here, have not come from the media, they have come from African- Americans in the Republican Party, Senator Tim Scott, Congressman John James.
Hunt tries selling the concept that it has been Republicans who raised this controversy and not the media. This, despite the fact we have not only seen the press push this false claim, but VP Kamala Harris also joining in on the slander.

Presentation Paradox – NBC NEWS
As a sign of how poorly the Florida-slavery narrative is going for the press, we also have Natasha Korecki from NBC News trying to shift the blame. Natty tells viewers that Ron DeSantis was the one to go after Kamala Harris, not the other way around. Never mind that Harris picked up the talking point from the press and that the White House dispatched her down to Florida in order to deliver a scathing speech filled with fraudulent accusations. What makes Korecki’s claim even more desperate (ignorant) is that she has no way of explaining why DeSantis would have needed whatsoever to “attack” Harris over this issue.

- Allow them to do some investigative journalism by looking into administration press releases.
You might have missed this one, as it was a classic example of a Friday Document Dump. It was that night that the administration made the announcement of a formal recognition of Hunter Biden’s love child as their legitimate grandchild. There could be numerous reasons for this change of position. The left-leaning press has even called out the family over this issue, and there was certainly polling showing this was becoming another drain on Biden's favorability numbers.
At CNN, they decided they needed to perform cleanup duties for the family, trying to claim the family failed to recognize the child all this time until Hunter resolved his custody court case out of deference to the child.

Hmmm, yeah…only problem? The case had been settled back in 2020. Hunter was only recently in court regarding his responsibilities because he petitioned to reopen the case to renegotiate his obligations. Included in the terms: Hunter's 4-year-old daughter could not use the family name. There was also a mandate passed around the White House that, officially, only six of the Biden grandchildren could be referenced.

- Not all mental infirmities are created equal.
It has been the source of speculation when Mith McConnell was seen on camera freezing up entirely, a sign of some sort of cognizance issue afflicting him. It led to many people questioning McConnell's ability to continue leading, including CNN’s Capitol correspondent Manu Raju.
Manu was on top of the issue during the ensuing days, asking numerous sources about the Senate minority leader being able to continue at his post. Of course, there has not been this kind of diligence on display from Mr. Raju regarding the mental conditions of Diane Feinstein, John Fetterman, or the continual slide of President Biden.

Reporting on the Mirror – VARIETY
Last week, it was a big item in the news media when Variety produced a lengthy takedown of deposed CNN boss Jeff Zucker. A number of journalists were included and many of them contested the content, asking for corrections, edits, or outright removal of the piece. After a week of apparent obstinance, a revised version of the 4,000-word piece has been issued.
