Greetings, everyone. I pray you had a wonderful Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, and let me be the first to say Happy New Year. The title of this missive comes from a scene in the movie “Apocalypse Now.” It was when Martin Sheen's character got dropped off for a brief stint at the frontline of the conflict and came into a bunker. The bunker is filled with Black infantry soldiers, and one is laying down withering machine gun fire. Sheen's character asks him a pertinent question, “Who's in charge here?” The Soldier stops firing and responds, “Ain't you?”
It should come as no surprise to any of us the recent revelations that Joe Biden was never in charge of this Nation. It was something we all could clearly see, but we were ridiculed as being conspiracy theorists. This has been exacerbated in these days since the November 5th election as we have watched Biden shrink away into irrelevance...along with Kamala Harris, who was never relevant; Biden's post-election actions, certainly not decisions, such as approving ATACMS missiles being fired into Russia and the mind-numbing action to allow federal government workers to work from home for the next five years. And now, the insane commutations and pardons that Biden has granted to hardened criminals and his felon son. One has to ask, is Biden, or someone, purposefully trying to go down as the worst President ever?
However, we now know that many on the progressive leftist side were long aware of the mental incapacity of Joe Biden.
I have had many ask me, “Colonel, who do you think has been running the show?” It is obvious who has been the quietest since the November 5th election: Barack Hussein Obama. If you recall, we wrote a piece for Townhall.com titled “The Fall of Barack Hussein Obama.” Here is our modern-day Icarus who flew way too close to the sun and now has come falling to the earth. His insidious scolding of Black men was the telltale of his coming end. It was Obama who pulled the strings over the past four years. If you recall, he once opined in a 60 Minutes interview about having a “front man” with whom he could speak through an earpiece. Needless to say, Biden did not have that earpiece during that fateful debate performance against now-President-Elect Donald Trump.
There can be no doubt that the domestic and foreign policy actions of the Biden-Harris administration were directed by the one former president who refused to leave Washington, DC. The cast of characters who were part of the Biden-Harris administration were, for the most part, alumni from the Obama-Biden administration. Now, Obama will watch his legacy and his existence be cast upon the ash heap of history. Let us not forget that Obama's electoral legacy resulted in massive losses in the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, Governor's mansions, and State legislatures. Now, he can add this massive failure to the list, so who will want this “has been” to come out and offer his endorsement?
All of this is deserving of the political party that lied, deceived, and misled the American people...and sought to punish them for not playing along. The Democrat party had a presidency by committee for the past four years, and they are now paying a bitter price for their chicanery. The leftist media is also to blame and is highly culpable, responsible, and accountable.
This week, we will go into a New Year, and no one in America, indeed the world, will have to ask the question, “Who's in charge?” Matter of fact, we already see the repercussions, globally, of the results of the November 5th election. The progressive socialist leftists do not feel as if they have done anything wrong. They still go around telling themselves the economy was fine and gas prices were not that bad. There is nothing wrong with allowing millions of illegal immigrants, including criminals and terrorists, into our Country. And the American people are paying for it with their tax dollars and lives. These delusional, deranged miscreants still believe that they had a successful four years and that we are just too dumb to realize it.
The question for us as a nation, going into 2025, is whether or not we will ever again be caught asking who is in charge and looking around mindlessly pondering, “Ain't you?” It is going to truly be a Happy New Year.
