Doctors today prescribe drugs and perform surgical procedures that ultimately do not benefit the patients they claim to help.
Picture an extremely powerful missile, one of the most devastating ever produced. There is only one problem with it: it has no guidance system. So when it is launched, it may blow up the enemy, but there is a non-zero chance that it will come back and destroy the forces that launched it. This analogy applies to our technically-advanced generation that lacks moral training or adherence to religious or other ethical principles. Ring employees spying on customers getting dressed? Facial recognition software used to lock away people walking around the Capitol on January 6th? Social media censorship to tip the scales of a presidential election? Technology and science without moral boundaries can destroy the foundations of a democracy or republic.
Nowhere is the unethical abuse of science more blatant than in the world of medicine. Drs. Fauci, Collins, and many of their peers denied useful treatments, pushed questionable vaccines, and lied about the origins of the Covid virus and the usefulness of masks and lockdowns. Their interests seemed less the well-being of the American people whose health should have been their top concern, but rather the financial health of big pharma, the happiness of the Chinese government, and the control of the American Left over the lives of more than 330 million citizens. Drugs that showed some efficacy in dealing with Covid, such as chloroquine and ivermectin were declared ineffective and even dangerous in order to pave the way for the population having to take the experimental Covid mRNA vaccines. While the number of reports in VAERS after these vaccines is alarming over a host of issues, none of America's top doctors or politicians will be held responsible just as no one was ever fired for 9-11. Nobody is ever held responsible in America for failed policies or incompetent execution. Doctors encouraged the taking of drugs of questionable effectiveness, but there will be no tribunal to hold them accountable. There was a point in August of 2022, when the majority of those sick with Covid were vaccinated. That was not the outcome they promised or the “pandemic of the unvaccinated” they kept repeating as a mantra.
The Covid malfeasance in some ways pales in comparison to the doctors and medical centers that perform sex-change surgery and/or give puberty blockers and sex hormones to children. I think that most agree that an adult can do whatever he or she wants to his or her body. If a guy wants to remove certain parts and add others, it’s his business. But children? We claim that children are immature and cannot drive a car, drink a beer, vote, or fight a war. But suddenly, they are mature enough to initiate irreversible medical procedures? The argument from the medical officials encouraging and performing these medical acts is that the children suffer from a disease—“gender dysphoria”—and that medical professionals are simply providing a medical cure to the problem. But it is well-documented that many who think that they are “in the wrong body” come around to live with themselves as they are, and there are additionally many others who regret transitioning and try to detransition to get back to where they started. How can doctors in good conscience remove perfectly healthy body parts from a child at the direction of his or her parents or with the encouragement of school officials? Shouldn’t we all agree that children should not be chemically or medically treated for a questionable condition from which they may very well recover if just left alone? Growing up in the ‘70s and ‘80s, we had plenty of tomboys and we were embarrassed when they could throw a softball much further than most of the boys could. We also had more effeminate boys, but nobody thought to give puberty blockers or perform surgery on any of them. There is a healthy range of behaviors for boys and girls and children should be encouraged to be themselves and not something that they can never be. Why should a boy who likes to play with dolls (and I played with GI Joe dolls all of the time) or a girl who likes sports be shunted into a pathway of drugs and surgeries when if left alone they will grow up perfectly well and be happy? The true number of cases of gender dysphoria is minuscule compared to the number of boys and girls who are encouraged by leftist teachers or confused parents into taking drugs and/or undergoing medical procedures that they do not need. Doctors should be a bulwark against giving drugs or doing operations where not needed. Unfortunately, many doctors drink from the same ideological Kool-Aid and benefit financially from performing “top” and “bottom” surgery on children.
Dr. Josef Mengele, Auschwitz’s “Angel of Death,” was infamous for his medical experiments, especially those performed on twin children brought to the concentration camp. His actions as a doctor had nothing to do with improving the lives of his “patients” and everything to do with satisfying his curiosity or testing medical hypotheses. How can a doctor prescribe puberty blockers or operate on a perfectly healthy child and condemn him or her to a life of sterility? Does a 15-year-old girl really want to give up her shot at having children when she is older and more mature? Transitioning children should be criminal with jail time and revoked medical licenses as punishment for destroying children’s lives for some fantastic concept of gender removed from biological sex. Let them get safely to the age of 18 and decide what they want to do with their bodies. Before then, they should be left alone to be healthy, happy and normal kids.
