Former President George H.W. Bush Remains In ICU; Barbara Bush To Stay In Hospital Over The Weekend

It was announced on Wednesday that former President George H.W. Bush and his wife Barbara had been admitted into the hospital and would be skipping the inauguration. Later that day, it was reported that Bush 41's condition had worsened, and he had been admitted into the ICU.

Today, Friday, it was announced that the former president's condition had improved and that he was no longer on a breathing tube and "breathing well" on his own. He remains in the ICU in stable condition. As for the former first lady, she will remain hospitalized throughout the weekend as a precaution.
