Sickening: Illegal Immigrant Who Assaulted NYPD Officers Smirks, Flips Double Bird As He Walks Free

Republicans should turn this guy into the Democrats' new mascot on immigration.  He represents something of a culmination of 'progressive' policies, and personifies the Lefts' vision of governance.  Here is a man who entered the United States illegally.  Once here, this "asylum seeker," as we are supposed to call him, allegedly committed additional crimes.  Said criminal activity led to a confrontation in which he and his fellow "asylum seekers" assaulted two New York City police officers, on camera, as they were trying to make an arrest.  When the group of assailants was taken into custody, nearly all of them were turned back out onto the streets as free men, thanks to "progressive" bail "reform" laws in the state.  An illegal immigrant alleged criminal who beat American cops in the street?  Out immediately.  Not out of the country, of course.  Just out.

And as a result of New York's "sanctuary" laws, there's virtually no chance any of these offenders will be deported because the deep blue jurisdiction heroically promises not to coordinate with federal immigration enforcement, as a matter of official policy.  It's about "progress" and "compassion," you must understand  So this is the look of a man who is well aware of the score.  He knows that his privileged status as an illegal immigrant criminal makes him more or less untouchable in a place like New York.  His double birds are being flipped at the American people, on behalf of the Democrats who created him:

Here's another one of the other cop beaters blowing kisses to the cameras as he struts out of the courthouse:

This crew may be headed to California, appropriately enough.  Why wouldn't they want to enjoy the weather and taxpayer-funded health insurance?  It does seem as though some elected Democrats sense that these might not be ideal optics for their party, so they're making noises about deportation:

It's amazing how drastically Hochul's tune can change when the politics take a turn.  And note how Adams opens his statement by waxing poetic about "migrants" seeking the "American dream" being welcome (their illegal status simply doesn't matter) -- then gets around to wringing his hands about illegal immigrants who commit additional crimes (especially politically-damaging ones, heaven forbid), and how it's basically impossible to remove them.  Is he going to lead a charge to rescind the city's sanctuary policies, or is he going to mumble about some 'concerns' before moving right on?  It's time for Texas to send more of these guys to New York, unfortunately.  But the Lone Star State has fewer of them to send these days, as their crackdown -- being aggressively challenged by the Biden administration, of course -- is working:

Policies matter and incentives work.  The cartels are protecting their multi-billion-dollar human trafficking business by adjusting to the situation on the ground.  In case anyone is laboring under the illusion that Democrats in Washington are serious negotiating partners in pursuit of truly addressing the border crisis, look at how they've been voting just this week:

Yes, it's literal Biden policy.  And this guy could be another mascot of theirs, though the smug middle-fingers criminal may capture the vibe a little bit better.  I'll leave you with this amusing photoshop, which sort of sums up the past few years at the border:
