Sick: San Francisco School Districts Tells Teachers to Indoctrinate Students With Hamas Propaganda

It's not an exaggeration to call this pro-terrorism indoctrination within a major US city's government-run schools. A throwaway line about terrorism being wrong, followed by justifications and "context," does not mitigate the reality that the material amounts to pro-terrorism propaganda. Worse, this official teaching resource includes a perverse assertion that "Israeli terrorism has been morally worse than that of the Palestinians," the latter of which is falsely portrayed as a 'last resort' of 'resistance.'  This is egregious, via National Review:

San Francisco Unified School District administrators instructed high-school teachers to engage in classroom discussions about the Israel-Hamas war using an educational resource that argues, “Israeli terrorism has been significantly worse than that of the Palestinians,” according to memos obtained by a parental-rights watchdog group and shared exclusively with with National Review. In memos to social-studies and ethnic-studies departments, discovered by Parents Defending Education, the district provided teachers with a host of resources to help lead classroom discussions on “war, terrorism, colonization, and seeking peace.” The first of the listed resources, Teach Mideast, promotes multiple anti-Zionist articles and viewpoints, including an article published by Jerome Slater at the Middle East Policy Council. In the article, Slater blames Israel for Hamas violence and speculates that failed Palestinian resistance efforts have made Palestinian terrorism a last resort.

“While all terrorism is morally wrong, it is still possible and perhaps necessary to make some distinctions. There can be degrees of moral wrong; we commonly make such distinctions and consider mitigating circumstances, especially between moral wrongs committed in pursuit of just causes and the double moral wrong of injustices done for unjust causes,” Slater wrote in the resource provided to teachers. “For several reasons, Israeli terrorism has been morally worse than that of the Palestinians"...Another teaching resource is a video titled, “Challenging Antisemitism from a Framework of Collective Liberation,” that seeks to “disentangle the false conflation of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism.”...Hillary Ronen, a member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors, supported students’ pro-Palestinian protest and said she would not stay quiet as she “watches the Israeli military commit genocide in our name.”...SFUSD officials discovered a swastika at a public high school in November. The city’s board of supervisors voted 8-3 in support of a cease-fire resolution on Tuesday.

The story is here.  It's unclear which is filled with more excrement: San Francisco's streets or its schools.  For the record, Israel's self-defense, which goes out of its way to minimize civilian casualties, does not represent "terrorism" or "genocide". The intentional targeting of civilians, the open willingness to sacrifice civilian lives for 'the cause,' and public vows to exterminate Israel and the Jews does represent genocidal terrorism.  Palestinians have been offered generous statehood and peace plans on numerous occasions.  They've rejected every offer, at every step.  Terrorism is not a 'last resort' for Hamas; it's a way of life.  The supposedly more 'legitimate' Palestinian Authority runs a martyrdom fund for the families of terrorists.  The morally-disgraceful, Israel-obsessed, anti-Semitic United Nations is complicit:

A Telegram channel consisting of 3,000 UNRWA teachers in Gaza filled with posts expressing support for the Hamas massacre that took place on October 7 was exposed by a UN Watch report on Wednesday. Shortly after the infiltration into Israel began, members of the group praised the perpetrators as "heroes," lauded the education received by the terrorists, shared images of dead or captured Israelis, and called for the execution of hostages. The chat group contains numerous files containing UNRWA staff names, ID numbers, schedules, and curriculum materials. Despite its intended purpose of supporting UNRWA teachers, the group frequently shares videos, photos, and messages that encourage jihadi terrorism and openly celebrate the Hamas massacre and the rape of civilians.

On the off-chance that any of these teachers are fired, perhaps they could apply for jobs in San Francisco's public schools. It seems they'd fit right in.  The piece above noted that the city's board of supervisors recently voted in favor of an effectively pro-Hamas 'ceasefire' resolution.  It had the support of a certain breed of local leftist.  Note how many of them are masked, for "safety" and "science" of course:

Dissenters were treated boorishly and callously, of course, by the "progressive" and "compassionate" local denizens. He called out their grotesque bigotry, and they didn't like it.  The city board sided with them, naturally:

I'll leave you with another vignette from Palestinians' sick culture -- as well as California's twisted and dysfunctional governance:
