I've been told, repeatedly, that because I am a conservative woman, I suffer from "internalized misogyny," a leftist term for women like me who refuse to wholeheartedly adopt their political and social pathologies. It's a lame attempt by people who do not possess medical training to psychoanalyze and dismiss me and my views by implying—none too subtly—that I'm mentally ill.
Meanwhile, these same people wholeheartedly embrace the notion that one can be "born in the wrong body," or that some women can have penises and some men can get pregnant. And when women disagree with this or dare to speak out as the gorgeous, talented, and brave Sophie Cunningham recently did—and J.K. Rowling and others have done for years—we're "TERFs" (trans exclusionary radical feminists) who can be yelled at, harassed, and threatened with violence or death for simply saying no.
The biggest traitors to women are, of course, other women who believe that we must be welcoming and tolerant of these mentally ill men, many of whom are deviant fetishists, lest we be "transphobic" and "exclusionary."
One of these people includes Cheryl Reeve, the president of the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx. I'd ask what's in the water in Minnesota, but I have estranged relatives who've lived in Duluth for years, so that's just how they are up there, it seems. Reeve recently lamented men being banned from women's sports.

"Of course it weighs on me," Reeve said. "The attacks they've gone through for the last ... current administration for sure, seems like it's really gotten way more aggressive. It's sort of sickening when you think about the issues that they are trying to tackle that are really not issues. The number of transgender athletes that they're not making laws for and creating a problem to get elected."
This issue is an 80-20 issue, at a minimum. Most people don't want men or boys in female locker rooms, or playing female sports. The parents of Payton McNabb, for one. She was permanently injured by a boy playing girls' volleyball who spiked a ball into her face. McNabb suffered a TBI, paralysis, and other injuries that will plague her the rest of her life.
Reeve continued, "What I'm hopeful for is that people have gotten themselves more educated and they understand that's not an issue."
"Exclusion is never the answer. Separate isn't equal and trans lives matter," she added.
It's only "not a problem" because Reeve doesn't think it is. And the WNBA only exists because of exclusion. Because no woman could cut it in the NBA, the WNBA was created. Otherwise, there wouldn't even be a woman playing professional basketball anywhere. And trans kids are free to play sports with those kids who share their biological gender. No one is saying boys can't join track or volleyball. They're just saying they don't get to cheat and beat out girls.
I would love a male basketball player to have the balls, no pun intended, to say he identifies as a woman and wants to play in the WNBA. Perhaps he could even express a desire to play for the Minnesota Lynx.
Would the WNBA welcome him? Because even the most mediocre male college basketball player will outperform Caitlin Clark and the rest of the WNBA. I'm going to guess the WNBA, including Reeve, would hem and haw about letting a man onto one of their teams. It would be a delight to watch the logic pretzels they twist themselves into to suddenly be ... exclusionary.
