Gavin Newsom is clearly running for president in 2028. He hasn't made the announcement, but his behavior points to a guy who wants to elevate himself to higher office. That's terrifying in and of itself, and Newsom knows it. Just this week, I reported that he wasted $19 million in taxpayer dollars to hire a consulting firm to polish California's image ahead of a national campaign.
That's a drop in the bucket when you consider the widespread Medicare/Medicaid fraud (and other fraud) that's happened on his watch, to be sure. It's also the political equivalent of shining a turd. How do you rehab the guy who took his state from a budget surplus to a deficit, saw the homeless problem get worse (despite spending billions to fix it), and let one of the most famous cities in the world burn to the ground?
You don't.
But what's scarier than the thought of a Gavin Newsom presidency is this: should he win, Gavin Newsom would not be president.
His wife, on the other hand, would be.
Jennifer Siebel Newsom made that very clear back in February, when she hijacked her husband's press conference to scold the media for not covering Trump's supposed "war on women" to her liking. Watch this video with the sound off, and pay close attention to Gavin's body language.

His face is as pink as his wife's jacket, and he looks like a man who is utterly cowed by his spouse. Siebel Newsom holds some insane views on things, and those are views she wants to institutionalize as America's values. That coming from the state that takes kids away from parents to "transition" them is alarming.

This includes her asinine implication that because she, as a child, accidentally killed her sister by running her over with a golf cart, the violent thugs at San Quentin are simply just men who "accidentally" harmed people, too.
Psychology dissertations could be written about this one sound bite, but here's what I know: Siebel Newsom views these harden criminals as children without agency. They didn't mean to rape, murder, rob, assault, or harm anyone. It just happened. And it happened, undoubtedly, because America is a racist nation, as she's often pointed out.
She has insanely warped views on gender, believing that boys are radicalized online and not by Leftists like her who tell them they're the root of all evil, and she wants to regulate social media and big tech as part of her push to "institutionalize" her values.
While discussing efforts to regulate big tech and social media companies, Newsom's wife says that boys who spend time online end up moving to the right. She calls that dangerous.

Siebel Newsom would probably think they're "far right" and radicalized, of course. She'd probably even push to remove the younger two from my custody because she thinks she knows better. But there are millions of mothers like me, mothers with values that stand in direct opposition to her insanity, and we have a voice (and a vote) too.
She has a bizarre obsession with abolishing gender norms, too.

What this is is the erasure of men, and seeing how she treats her husband, it's no wonder who wears the pants in the family.
And she wants women to run the world, saying there'd be less hatred if they did.

What Siebel Newsom means when she says "less racism, hate, and bigotry" online is that she'd censor anything she doesn't like. Attacks on conservatives, Christians, whites, and men would be protected as "free speech" but saying something factual like "only boys have a penis" or "only women get pregnant" would be banned.
I'm not old enough to remember this, but those who remember BIll Clinton's nascent political career have told me Hillary Clinton tried something similar, being outspoken during his campaigns. It backfired, and the Democrats made her keep her mouth shut until Clinton won.
But Siebel Newsom is no Hillary Clinton. She's the one actually running for the White House in 2028, and she believes she will be the one calling the shots. She said as much about California.

Gavin is just the frontman. And, while I stand by my assertion he will ultimately not be the nominee, we have not heard the last from his wife.
She is extremely passionate about institutionalizing her values, and now that she's leaving the governor's mansion, she's got to find another avenue to do that. She believes that's 1600 Pennsylvania.
