There is no more selfish and self-centered ideology than modern-day leftism. The entire movement is driven by the belief that a person should not have to work to pay for their education, their healthcare, their rent, or their food. But because the Left cannot admit this, they do two things: project and lie.
They project by calling their political opponents greedy, fascists, Nazis and lie about saying only they have our best interests at heart as they push an ideology that killed 100 million people in the 20th century.

Let's break this down and prove just how delusional this thinking is.
First, we'll start with France. There, mobs of Islamists and left-wingers have spent weeks burning down cities and historical sites. This includes a building that survived two World Wars but couldn't withstand some Antifa goons. That's "thinking about one's country?" France, like most European nations, has allowed an influx of Third-World migrants to invade. They have fundamentally destroyed the culture and caused irreparable harm.
These same people want to do the same thing across the globe to bring down Western Civilization and destroy the world. That's not "thinking about the world" first, unless you're thinking of ways to devastate it. They have supported regimes like Iran and Hamas in Gaza, who both want to spread their terrorism across the globe and subjugate us all under Islam.
As for loved ones, that's laughable. These are the people who — like clockwork — will post think-pieces before every major holiday telling you to attack your conservative uncle over Thanksgiving dinner and to cut off ties with your parents and friends over politics.
The entire thinking behind left-wing ideology is me first. That's why they push for student loan forgiveness. They made bad choices, and now someone else (who didn't go to college) has to bail them out. That's why they push for abortion. They were irresponsible and got pregnant and want to be absolved from their personal responsibility. I've written about two mothers who wanted their child's gay identity to be about them. Actress Camryn Manheim admitted she was disappointed her son grew up straight (so much for "born this way"), having spent his childhood trying to turn him queer. She wanted to be the rabid flag-waving ally so she could show the rest of the world she is a good person. Another mother said the same thing, chiding parents with "trans" kids for not being those same flag-waving activist allies.
It's all about them.
Even things like Medicare for All are self-centered. The Left doesn't want to pay for their own healthcare, and they don't want to do things like lose weight or make healthy choices (hence the coming war on "fascist" GLP-1 medications). They want someone else to pay for their bad decisions, to the tune of billions a year just for obesity and obesity-related causes.
Compare this to the right-wing, who want to preserve the cultures that made their countries — and the world — great. Who want to protect their loved ones through the free exercise of the Second Amendment and who don't (by and large) ostracize family and friends over politics. Conservatives are more charitable and selfless with their money, and they want to help their neighbors without the government getting involved.
With the Left, every accusation is actually a confession, and they know the reality: they are selfish, they are greedy, they are destructive. And today, we must go vote and reject this ideology from taking root here.
