A headline you'll never see in the press "Democrat Hakeem Jeffries record in Congress shows consistent backing of Biden." See, because for the media, it's a given that Democrats will always fall in line with Democrat presidents while Republicans who vote like Republicans are somehow extremists and wrong.

That's what the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel is trying to do by pointing out that Republican Tom Tiffany, who was elected by Republican voters in Wisconsin, votes for Republican President Trump's agenda. You know, the Republican who won Wisconsin in 2016 and 2020.

Here's more:

Republican governor candidate Tom Tiffany rarely broke from President Donald Trump throughout his time in U.S. Congress, including votes to back tariffs on Canada and overturn 2020 election results — a conservative track run that strays from the more moderate stances he’s taken on the campaign trail.

Since he started representing Wisconsin’s 7th Congressional District in 2020, Tiffany has consistently held a steadily fiscally and socially conservative voting record on issues like same sex-marriage, gun control laws, the COVID pandemic and the war in Iran.

That’s remained true throughout this current U.S. Congress term, where an analysis of 2025 votes found Tiffany voted with Trump 99% of the time. He is also currently a member of the House Freedom Caucus, which is regarded as the most conservative bloc in the chamber, an HFC spokesperson confirmed.

Heritage Action, the conservative advocacy organization which rates members based on votes and bill co-sponsorships favorable to the group’s positions, gave Tiffany a highly favorable 96% lifetime score. The group is associated with the right-wing think tank who wrote Project 2025, a highly contentious policy proposal that Democrats ran against in 2024.

According to Tiffany’s website, he also sits on the Western, Sportsmen’s, Dairy Farmer and Taiwan caucuses. His website does not list his membership on the House Freedom Caucus or the Border Security Caucus.

Forgive me if I'm not scandalized by this.

We get this every time a Republican backs Republican leadership. That's because the media thinks the only good Republican is one who votes or behaves a Democrat. For years, they hated Dick Cheney. He was a warmonger, a fascist, a criminal who needed to be imprisoned. But the second Cheney and his daughter, Liz, started opposing Trump the very same people who wanted to throw him behind bars embraced him.

When Cheney died last November, the revelry from the online Left was remarkably subdued.

It was the same thing with John McCain, who was a warmonger when he ran against Barack Obama in 2008, but magically a man of integrity when he stood up to President Trump.

Meanwhile, when Democrats break ranks with the party — as Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman often does — they are attacked. Remember when it was ableist to question Fetterman's cognitive abilities when he ran for office? That went out the window as soon as Fetterman became a vocal supporter of Israel and a critic of the Democrats' insanity.

When Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema bucked their party and saved the filibuster, the Democrats turned on them, too.

But if the media want to portray this as an anti-Trump race, it's not going to work for them. Trump won Wisconsin twice — the first Republican to win the state since the 1980s when he beat Clinton here in 2016. Voters want to know what politicians are going to do for them, and Tiffany has a plan.

His opponent does, too: raise taxes, be an accomplice for illegal aliens, and codify a radical agenda on abortion and spending that Wisconsin voters just cannot afford.
