New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, like all members of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), is a big proponent of "international law," a nefarious concept that undermines American sovereignty and freedom. By appealing to foreign bodies like the International Criminal Court and "international law" as the basis for how America should conduct its foreign and domestic policy, they're trying to destroy our Constitution and our government.

That's their goal, of course.

Socialist Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic Socialist nominee for Michigan's Senate seat, is another proponent of "international law," and he proves exactly what it's really about: giving the global Left its way on issues. El-Sayed was asked about supporting military aid to Ukraine but not Israel, and said the difference was "international law."

Because of course.

Here's the exchange (emphasis added):

NK: What's the lens that you would use to make decisions about where we should spend our military aid and support, where we shouldn't, what should guide us in getting into conflicts?

AES: International law. I believe we ought to be the first among equals to enforce international law. We worked really hard after the worst war in human history to build all these institutions, to build all these frameworks; then we became the chief violator of all the frameworks. So, when it comes to Ukraine, I think we are involved in a righteous struggle to protect a sovereign nation from being invaded by their neighbor. That's completely consistent with international law.

When it comes to Israel, we are aiding and abetting a human rights violator who, at a minimum, at baseline, is engaged in apartheid, and has been for decades, and conducted a genocide, and now has pulled us into a war we have no business fighting.

Translation: El-Sayed hates the Jews and Israel.

Funny how that works.

Whoops.

El-Sayed, like all Islamist socialists, will say Israel was asking for it because of the non-existent "apartheid" going on there.

For someone who wants to protect Ukraine from Russia, he's fine with Russian propaganda.

Oh, he understands. That's why he wants "international law" to apply to Israel and the U.S. and not Iran or other Islamic nations.

Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
