I have written constantly on Townhall and many articles about Leftist ideology, where it comes from, what it believes, and what it has done over the last 100+ years. I have repeatedly mentioned how many hundreds of millions of people the socialist Left killed and is still killing in Leftist hellholes around the globe. I have said, on countless occasions, that the Left will do anything it can get away with to gain power, to establish its totalitarian control over a nation it wishes to conquer, and to hold power once it obtains it. They will stop at nothing to win; they have absolutely no morals, no conscience, and no humanity; they are selfish barbarians who live only to have power and control over others. As I have written many times, I lived in China for ten years and was repeatedly victimized by communist thugs who care nothing about freedom or the well-being of their people—I LIVED IT! I will never stop writing about it. To stop is to surrender to them the victory they crave.
But I have friends in China who hate the CCP. And they love Donald Trump because of what he stands for—and against.
Leftists are Evil Incarnate. While calling their opponents “Hitler” and “inciters of violence,” they are the true fascists and instigators of brutality. And Leftists in America, ideologically, are absolutely no different from Leftists anywhere else in the world. Indeed, a few weeks ago, I wrote an article here on Townhall entitled “There Is Nothing the Left Will Not Do,” where I explicitly stated that an assassination attempt on Donald Trump “would not, in the least, be above the Leftists in America.”

All the above was proven again by the attempt on Mr. Trump’s life on Saturday.
If they had succeeded in killing Trump, he would have been only one more victim of the innumerable millions the Left has murdered in the last 100 years. There is a war going on, folks, a war between righteousness and evil, between freedom and tyranny, between humane civilization and totalitarian savagery. And we saw again on Saturday who stood where.
They are only sorry they missed it. Some of them said what they really believe. Colorado Representative Steven Woodward posted on X, “The last thing America needed was sympathy for the devil, but here we are.” Another on X: “Dammit, so close. Too bad...What a glorious day this could have been.” Another: “He’s still evil. Now he’s evil with blood on his face.” There are others, countless more, you saw them.
Who is inciting America to violence? Joe Biden reportedly told donors it is “time to put Trump in the bullseye.” Former Senator Claire McCaskill recently pontificated on MSNBC that Trump is more dangerous than Hitler and Mussolini. A December 20, 2023, Washington Post editorial was entitled “Yes, It’s OK to Compare Trump to Hitler. Don’t Let Me Stop You.” Representative Bennie Thompson, of January 6 Committee infamy, introduced legislation into Congress in April of this year to deny Mr. Trump Secret Service protection upon a conviction of a crime by the farcical DOJ. Nancy Pelosi said recently that Trump “must be stopped; he cannot be President!” Somebody took your words literally, Nancy. Netflix’s Orange is the New Black star Lea DeLaria recently begged President Biden to “blow him up” (meaning Trump). And there are hundreds more such words of “peace” and “non-violence” by the “loving” Left.
But it’s only the “far-right” that uses violence. Yes, it was a MAGA person who attacked U.S. Representative Lee Zeldin on a stage during his 2022 New York gubernatorial campaign. It was MAGA that shot Steve Scalise at a Congressional baseball game a few years ago. And I guess it was MAGA that did billions of dollars of damage by rioting, burning, killing, and looting in the wake of George Floyd’s death. And MAGA just tried to kill Donald Trump. Yes, ONLY the “far-right.”
All these expressions of “sympathy” coming from the Left now, by those who have repeatedly called Trump “Hitler,” ring very, very hollow indeed. If Trump is truly Hitler reincarnated, then why aren’t the Democrats expressing remorse that the assassination attempt failed? The world would have rejoiced if somebody had killed Adolf Hitler, and we know that’s exactly how the Leftists would have reacted—to each other, and some of them publicly—if Trump had been assassinated.
They want him dead. They want ANYBODY dead who stands in the way of their totalitarian power. If that isn’t what Vladimir Lenin, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong mean to history, then what do they mean? And now, since the American Left hasn’t been successful in throwing Trump into the gulag, some kook bought their rhetoric and took it upon himself to “put Trump in the bullseye” to kill him because he “must be stopped; he cannot be President.” Somebody decided to try to do what the Left has done countless millions of times to its opponents in the last 100 years. I’m not the least bit surprised at this.
If the history of the last 100 years teaches anything at all, it teaches that the Left, if given the totalitarian power in America that they crave, will do anything necessary to hold on to it. They feel threatened, big time, right now because of their utterly incompetent President and his failures. They are desperate. They throw out violent rhetoric by the bucketsful to attempt to stop Trump. And then they express the horror that someone follows that rhetoric—again—to its logical conclusion—pure, unvarnished, 100% evil people.
But Trump would have been only one more body on the pile of millions the Left has butchered.
