No, no, no, I jest, Germany is not really going to put a picture of Adolf Hitler on their money. No Euroweenie is that dumb or even corrupt. The German people are good folk, and from what I have been able to gather, are quite distressed that their country produced a madman, a megalomaniac, and mass murdering monstrosity named Hitler. “Never Again” was what I saw posted at the remains of the concentration camp in Dachau. I believe they mean it.

But can you imagine the world-wide outcry if Germany did put Hitler’s face on the Deutschmark?  First, the world would be in total shock.  Then, immediately, there would be a non-stop cacophony of denunciation, recrimination, abuse, condemnation, and, no doubt, sanctions--and perhaps even threats of war--against the German government.  Germany would be out of the European Union and NATO (perhaps the best arguments for Hitler on the Deutschmark).  Such an action would be headline news every night until Germany rescinded the insane proposition. And rightly so. To exalt a criminal ogre like Hitler would be an offense of the highest magnitude, an insult to the entire world, a hideous, despicable action by crazed, degenerate human waste.

But we all know that the German government, thankfully, has no intention of ever doing such a thing.

So, why would I even mention it?  Because, dear reader, there is a country in the world doing exactly the “Hitler on the Deutschmark” thing, and not a peep is ever heard about it.

As I have noted elsewhere on TownhalI, I lived in the People’s Republic of China for almost ten years of my life, having only recently escaped that prison.  The common people there, the slaves (for that’s what they are), like most such people in the world, are decent folk, just trying to survive and live a happy, prosperous life. They're masters, the Chinese Communist Party, are thugs. Human garbage. Power-hungry, murdering, oppressive thieves, liars, cheats, monsters, and a few other things I would like to call them that Townhall probably wouldn’t permit. You have heard this, of course, from other conservative pundits in America.  They tell the truth.  I’ve lived it.

Perhaps you don’t know that historians (the 2 or 3 good ones left) rank Adolf Hitler as having the honor of being only the third greatest mass murderer in history.  For all his butchery, when it came to killing people, Hitler was an inept bungler when compared to number two on the list, Joseph Stalin, and number one all time, Mao Zedong, the dictator of Communist China from 1949 till the wonderful event of his death in 1976.  Mao is credited with between 60 and 70 million deaths—no one will ever know the exact number.   From the time he came to power in 1949 until the day he died, that amounts to at least 5,000 deaths per day (admittedly, a few were before 1949).  Every single day of his reign this beast averaged killing 5,000 innocent people.  I won’t mention—well, I guess I will—that Douglas MacArthur had almost defeated the North Korean army in 1950, which could have liberated that country and united the peninsula under an eventual democratic government.   Almost, I say, because Mao sent his swarms of Chinese insects into Korea to push MacArthur back, thus preventing the unification of the Koreas (let’s leave Truman for another day). So, you can incidentally add however many North Koreans have been slaughtered and starved in the last 70 years to Mao’s total of mass murder.  Great record to campaign on in communist countries. And California.

Adolf Hitler did, seemingly, like his dogs, and maybe even Eva Braun. Joseph Stalin was seen with tears in his eyes at the death (which he largely caused) of his second wife.

I cannot think of one, single solitary good thing to say about Mao Zedong. Not one.

And guess whose picture is on every single solitary money bill in the People’s Republic of China?

Hitler’s picture on the Deutschmark would create a world-wide storm. Mao’s picture on RMB notes? Meh.  Yawn.  Mustn’t keep LeBron from selling his Nike’s. Or Hunter and Joe from…uh, yeah.  “Never Again”—unless you are a Uyghur.  Or from Tibet.  Or Hong Kong. Or, soon, Taiwan.  Or have a loved one who was a victim of China’s most recent virus.

But that’s ok.  You see, Hitler was “right-wing” and “destroyed democracy.”  China is communist and has “good intentions.”

A government that puts a picture of the greatest mass murderer in human history on all their money.  What does that tell you about that government? And a world that says nothing about it.  What does that tell you about our world? That so many people on this planet suck up to that country, buying its slave-labor produced products with hardly a whimper of protest, and slobbering over a regime that has killed more innocent people than any in human history is at the top of the most nauseating, revolting, and inexcusable facts imaginable.   Yes, I’m talking to YOU, Joe Biden!

But, the Left controls the world narrative now--from China, to the Wuhan virus, to sexual immorality, to climate change and other pseudo-scientific theories.  And the Left is wrong about 99.9% of what it believes (though I couldn’t tell you what the .1% is they are right about).  That narrative-control isn’t going to change soon.  And it takes a wise person with courage to see through it and stand up against it.
