Don't worry, America. I know that crime is on the rise, and I know that violent crime in our major cities is a significant problem. We've seen the videos of all the people getting attacked randomly on the streets in New York. A football player for the Washington Commanders actually got shot in an attempted carjacking in Washington, DC, on the opening day of the season last month. Anecdote after anecdote after anecdote, people are feeling a palpable shift in terms of violent crime on the streets. Plus, we have district attorneys who are letting criminals out on the street, there's no cash bail, and there's a revolving door at the police stations in major cities in this country. Also, of course, there are the results of the "Defund the Police" movement. Police are demoralized and unable to recruit because they have no backing from the Democrats in charge. All of that is stacking up and creating a situation in this country where people have palpable fear. But don't worry. You shouldn't be worried about this because the Washington Post has gotten to the bottom of it, and it's all Fox News' fault.
