Why Kamala Destroys Democracy

In less than 24 hours following her acceptance speech for the Democratic National Convention, she had been wiped clean from the front pages of the news cycle.

She spent the weekend barely mentioned on what should have been her highest polling point in the race.

Readers of this column will recall that I indicated her likely high point came the week after Joe Biden unceremoniously “contracted COVID” and abruptly left Las Vegas. He returned to Delaware only hours later to announce via social media that he would be leaving the race.

In the span of hours, elites across the party announced their endorsement of Kamala Harris, who has never earned a single primary vote in two runs at President. The media also jumped on board, immediately propping her up as the “answer” to what they had properly perceived as the problem of waning support amongst independents and moderate Democrats.

The ship had been taking on water since Biden’s awful debate performance. Pelosi, Schumer, and eventually Obama put the screws on Old Joe, and eventually, he knuckled and stepped aside.

Now they had what they thought would be the silver bullet: a woman (though they can’t define what one is) vs “a misogynist,” a youngish person vs an octogenarian, a prosecutor vs a felon.

All Kamala Harris has to do is not be too radical or scary, just herself. She played her part well up to the convention. No interviews, no press conferences, and only one horrible policy proposal released until she got to give her coronation acceptance speech at the DNC. So the day following should have been her high point.

However, on that day, a man named Kennedy openly revolted against the Democratic party. His actions were particularly painful for three reasons. It was supposed to be “her moment.” He was able to garner widespread coverage for his speech, in which he had dismantled her vapid convention. And he had actually been campaigning on substantive issues, asking for people’s actual votes.

The idea of someone suspicious of federal vaccine policy being put in charge of the Department of Health and Human Services or a man whose father and uncle’s deaths had been shrouded in mystery possibly being named head of the CIA are both thoughts that immediately captured the press’ attention.

Then, something else began: other Democrats began to speak up.

In Robert Kennedy’s full-throat endorsement of President Donald Trump, the fellow Democrat accused the party of Harris of overt censorship and election manipulation. It wasn’t Trump but a Democratic legacy that claimed the Democrats were willing to rig outcomes.

Then something else remarkable happened: other Democrats confirmed it. Democrats who had actually run in the primaries and received votes spoke up.

In successive days, Marianne Williamson, Dr. Cornel West, and Jill Stein all spoke out in agreement with Kennedy’s observations. The consensus was that the Democrats hadn’t followed the rules in how the primaries had been set up, especially in places like North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

At the time, in those states, Biden used dirty tactics to prevent one or more candidates from competing, which is why two of them declared as independents. RFK had done the same.

Williamson and Dean Phillips were eventually the last two standing, but even though they were severely overwhelmed in funding, they did garner actual votes in the Democratic primaries — something Harris has yet to accomplish.

This morning, Dean Phillips, the Congressman who ran against Biden to offer moderate Democrats an option, is making headlines openly saying he would be honored to work in a Trump administration primarily because of America's pain.

When you couple this astounding condemnation of the Democratic process in this election—one that culminated in removing the candidate who actually earned the votes of 14,000,000 voters—with the non-democratic installation of their nominee, you have to admit that President Trump has had a point. These hard-edged leftist puppet masters literally believe they can and will destroy America’s free and fair elections. They are doing it to their own supporters.

Add to that the most vapid, empty-headed candidate they could have found. And add to that the fact that she has yet to supply us with any policies, interviews, or press conferences to even discuss her abysmal record, and you have the appearance of something truly un-American.

The scripture says you cannot love two masters, for if you love the one, you must hate the other. In context, it refers to good vs evil.

But something similar is true here: you cannot love America and support the current Democratic Party. They are fundamentally un-American in their methods, goals, and desired outcomes.

And all you have to do is ask Kennedy, Stein, West, Williamson, or Phillips — none of whom are Republicans.
