"In all of you — and this is not hyperbole — in all of you, what I see is courage. I mean it sincerely from the bottom of my — I see courage. Courage," President Joe Biden said from a stage set up on the South Lawn of the White House on June 10, 2023. "We all talk about courage. Well, I see more courage on this lawn than I've seen in any time in the recent past."

The remarks came less than two weeks after Memorial Day (24 hours set aside in America to honor those who died serving the country) and a commencement speech to Air Force Academy graduates.

But Biden wasn't speaking about bravery to those putting it all on the line for the United States. Instead, he was praising transgender and child mutilation advocates listening on the lawn.

Shortly after Biden's remarks, a number of transgender activists and TikTok stars turned on their video cameras and put on a show. Soon, footage of two biological women and one biological male, with artificial breast implants on top and his male goods still intact below, started circulating on the internet. The male fondled himself for the camera after taking down the top of his white dress.

Days went by before the White House condemned the highly disrespectful and sexual behavior in front of the People's House, but officials didn't apologize for inviting the activists in the first place. Worse, they are still helping them implement their agenda to sexualize children in our culture and at their schools with the full force of the federal government. Biden gave them a heroes welcome and urged them to continue their work.

The incident was more than a simple example of things going array. It gave Americans a view of who individuals working for the Biden administration, the left, and Biden himself, view as the "courageous" heroes of our country, and they are vastly different than the heroes of conservatives.

In early December 2022, news broke that the Biden administration exchanged WNBA player Brittney Griner, who had been detained in Russia for allegedly bringing illegal substances into the country, for "merchant of death" Viktor Bout. Prior to her arrest by the Kremlin, Griner refused to stand for the National Anthem and repeatedly echoed bogus claims that Americans are inherently racist people and that their country is irredeemable.

When Biden made the swap for Griner, he left behind Marine Paul Whalen. Whalen has been held by Russia since 2018. Negotiations were made for Griner's release, and Whalen, falsely accused of espionage, continues his detention inside a Russian prison.

"She [Griner] represents the best America — the best about America — just across the board, everything about her," Biden said in remarks from the White House upon her release.

The best of America? The left has wildly different views of what makes up "the best of America," and it isn't even close.

Which brings me to a more recent example from New York City. Convicted felon Jordan Neely – 40 arrests on his record, including an attempt to kidnap a little girl and a violent assault on an elderly woman – boarded a subway train on May 1, 2023, and immediately started making death threats to passengers. The threats started to escalate, and U.S. Marine Daniel Penny and two other men took action to subdue him. Penny put Neely in a chokehold long enough for him to pass out and immediately put him into a recovery position.

As a result of Neely's own actions, repeatedly threatening to kill passengers, he suffered consequences.

Neely has received all kinds of excuses from the left and their allies in the media. He was "troubled" and "mentally ill," giving him a pass for his unacceptable behavior. "He didn't deserve to die." Meanwhile, conservatives and other sane people have rushed to defend Penny with gratitude and millions for a legal defense fund after an indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg. The good news, for now at least, is that the streets haven't erupted in riots as we saw after the left deemed George Floyd, who held a pregnant woman at gunpoint and was a lifelong drug user, a saint.

The individuals upheld by the left as "courageous" and "the best of America" tell us everything we need to know about their political philosophy. As for finding common ground, there is none.
