President Trump has, without a doubt, shown himself to be the most pro-life President in American history. From being the first sitting president to attend the March for Life to being the president responsible for the overturning of the horrendous Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade, Trump now is finally planning to defund Planned Parenthood.
Planned Parenthood, the U.S.’s largest abortion provider, will, according to the Wall Street Journal, lose tens of millions of dollars. The funding will be cut off as the administration “examines their DEI efforts.”
Planned Parenthood, according to its 2022-2023 annual report, collected almost $700 million from “Government Health Services Reimbursements & Grants.” The group also continues to increase its number of abortions performed, having reported a 20% increase in abortions committed by its facilities over the last decade.
As if the wickedness of its murder mills weren’t enough, Planned Parenthood, a group founded on the despicable idea of eugenics, also provides hormone treatment for gender transitions (what they call “gender affirming care”). It was reported that a Planned Parenthood facility in New Jersey started transitioning a teen with mental health issues after only a half hour consult, and the parents were not told.
Since the group’s funding is fungible, as it continues to get into these heinous, antihuman “procedures,” its more legitimate medical services have decreased. Government funding undoubtably helps these houses of horror pop up throughout the nation, regardless of the propaganda it puts out.
It should go without saying that taxpayer money should never be used this way. It is immoral and evil, and support for it should never be imposed on anyone.
However, the fact that anyone on the Republican side hasn’t jumped on defunding this group until now is unfathomable.
Even for just political reasons, Planned Parenthood should entirely be cut off, since, aside from the wickedness of its promotion of abortion, the group is a major fundraiser for Democrats.
This is just more proof that Trump changed the GOP for the better. It is now a party of the working American, the everyday American, the patriotic American. Gone are the days where the party would be happiest and most comfortable to be controlled opposition in exchange for hits on Fox.
Trump is delivering on his promises to conservatives and Americans at large, and the defunding of the Satanic group which thrives on murder and upending lives is an excellent move indeed.
