Despite what the mainstream media and some of the so-called “MAGA personalities” would like you to think, America First Republicans are united in their support of President Trump’s military strikes in Iran.
America First Republicans, like myself, and a growing coalition of Independents and even Democrats, are wholly desensitized to the Fake News’ and their distortion of reality. President Trump lifted the veil on this scheme, which has long been weaponized against him and the American People, so it came as no surprise when the mainstream media attempted to fabricate a splintering of the Republican Party on the issue of U.S. strikes in Iran.
More surprising, however, was the number of self-proclaimed MAGA talking heads that bought what the main-stream media was selling and sprinted away from the President in the days leading up to his successful bombing of Iranian nuclear facilities. These alleged “supporters” of President Trump parroted left-wing talking points about “World War 3” and “forever wars,” but were quick to change their tune when it was revealed that the President’s plan was an overwhelming success. As Maya Angelou said, “when somebody shows you who they are – believe them.” It was shocking to see the number of former pro-Trump pundits turn their backs on the President and reveal their lack of faith in his leadership. Yet, their flip-flopping only strengthened the resolve of true America First patriots.
The data speaks for itself. In a recent GrayHouse poll, nine in ten Trump voters support President Trump’s strikes on the nuclear sites in Iran. In another poll, 81% of MAGA Republicans supported the strikes. The numbers paint a clear picture: Despite the media’s distorted reality, the overwhelming majority of America First Republicans stand firmly behind the president’s actions.
Our unity stems from shared priorities. We recognize the necessity of standing with Israel; our greatest ally in the Middle East and the beacon for democracy in the region. We also recognize the catastrophic danger that a nuclear Iran would pose to our nation, our allies, and global security. This priority is not new to the movement, as presented by the media, but a continuation of the President’s priorities. The foundation was laid during the Abraham Accords of President Trump’s first term, which brought historic peace between Sunni nations and Israel. Then, just a few weeks into his second term, President Trump announced his plans to expand the accords which will only reinforce the coalition dedicated to countering Iran’s aggressive pursuit of nuclear weapons. These priorities are deeply seeded in the America-First Policy cannon.
Despite the success of U.S. and Israeli strikes to Iranian nuclear sites, we must remain vigilant. We can’t soon forget just how close Iran was to producing a nuclear weapon. The stakes couldn’t be higher for our future, our children’s future, and our grandchildren’s future. This vigilance requires a rapid expansion of the Abraham Accords to form a united front against Tehran’s nuclear ambitions. Together, this group of nations will forge a more secure, stable, and prosperous region that protects both Israel and American assets in the region.
Thanks to President Trump’s peace-through-power approach to Iran, the conflict was deescalated and a ceasefire between Israel and Iran was achieved. By neutralizing the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, President Trump not only saved countless innocent civilian lives on both sides of this war, but he also paved the way for his vision of peace in the region.
Real America First Republicans trust President Trump’s plan because he always delivers. From crushing ISIS and brokering the Abraham Accords in his first term to bringing home hostages and facilitating peace in his second term, President Trump has proven time and time again that he means what he says – and gets it done. We don’t waver when tough decisions must be made or when the media peddles lies intentionally designed to divide us. We stand shoulder-to-shoulder with a once in a generation leader who puts the American people First, protects our servicemembers, and defends our allies against existential threats. An overwhelming majority of Republicans share this conviction, and we are cheering for President Trump’s decisive action to safeguard the world from the threat of a nuclear weapon in the hands of radical Islamists in Iran. We stand with President Trump, and always will.
