Pathological Media Amnesia – CNN

  • So he is accountable for the actions of others, but when it comes to yourself…nah?!

Jake Tapper had a harsh rebuke for President Trump. He seems to think it is valid and newsworthy that the president has not sufficiently come out and condemned Tucker Carlson for conducting an interview with Nick Fuentes.

This is a curious slam, because Jake, while holding Trump responsible for what someone else did, is the same newsman who, on his own program, saw fit to have noted white supremacist Richard Spencer featured in an interview, so he could slam Trump during his first term.

Artisanally-Crafted Narratives – CNN

  • "We are not technically saying it, although we want to really, REALLY say it."

By now, one would think the smart play regarding the Jeffrey Epstein emails that failed to prove – well – anything with President Trump would be to step back from commentary. This did not dissuade Kate Bouldan from going right up to the edge of accusing Trump of wrongdoing, while making comments that there is nothing substantive to rely upon.

You get the sense of all of this in just one line uttered from the hostess:

"There's no accusations of any wrongdoing…so far."

I swear, with these people…

Both Kinds of Standards – ABC NEWS

  • Mary looks refreshed after her four-year vacation.

With the Saudi Prince in attendance at the White House, ABC's Mary Bruce was notably aggressive with questions posed to both President Trump and his guest.

She is expected to challenge the leadership in her role, and Trump can certainly handle things himself and does not require defending. Her performance earned praise from many in her field, but what stands out most is that it does not approach anything seen from her during the four years of fawning, supportive coverage of the Biden administration.

Dos Equis-perts – NEW YORK POST

  • We almost wonder if legal counsel will be involved next.

The New York Post reports that there is a new standard to be applied to parenting – if you are basically bat-crap crazy and have a newborn. While we need to assert the paper approaches this as a daft concept, they still saw fit to report on a new study regarding how parents need to approach the process of changing a baby's soiled diaper.

You are to get consent from the infant prior to cleaning them of their leavings:

“At the start of a nappy change, ensure your child knows what is happening,” researchers from Deakin University wrote in a November 2025 guide. “Get down to their level and say, ‘You need a nappy change,’ and then pause so they can take this in. Then you can say, ‘Do you want to walk [or] crawl with me to the [changing] table, or would you like me to carry you?’” said the specialists, seemingly ignoring that newborns can’t yet actually chat up mom or dad one-on-one. “Observe their facial expressions and body language to check if they understand what is happening.”

Glossary Over Things – NBC NEWS

  • We'd guess the first thing to do is figure out just where this thing is.

It would appear the Democrats are still struggling to curry favor with male voters. In the unending stream of "helpful" pieces in the press to assist the party, we get this summation of how current efforts are going.

Not that we intend to lend a hand ourselves, it just strikes us that maybe applying wonkish corporate-ese like "Manosphere" is a stumbling block to your efforts.
