Presentation Paradox – NEW YORK MAGAZINE
It would appear we do not need to listen to the actual messages in order to blindly support protests.
Add Kara Swisher to the list of journos taking a decidedly sympathetic stance with the campus protesters. Ignoring the illegal actions, the racist manner in which they block Jewish students, and the calls for death and violence against Israel, Swisher tells Chris Wallace that it seems un-American to block the protests.
Allow us to boldly state that what is definitively un-American are the protests chanting "Death to America."
“Not to support” the anti-Semitic pro-Palestinian protesters taking over colleges “is sort of anti-American” – @karaswisher on CNN’s Chris Wallace Show pic.twitter.com/vLeFIZ8BxB

Pounce of Prevention – WASHINGTON POST
Recommended
Learning nothing from the angry crowds confronting press members outside the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Saturday, WaPo continues to support these protests. In resorting to the tired "seize" approach of deflection, it also needs to ignore the blocking of students, calls for violence, illegal occupations, and other forms of illegality in order to declare these as "peaceful protests."
Former president Donald Trump and other Republicans are seizing on the eruption of campus protests across the country to depict the United States as out of control under President Biden.

However, most pro-Palestinian demonstrations have been peaceful. https://t.co/Kpz55Hnkd7
Body Checking the Fact-Checkers – WASHINGTON POST
The marvel that is Glenn Kessler is at it again. The Post's resident viscount of vérité takes on the claim that Joe Biden is responsible for a program to fund illegals with housing costs. Glenn helpfully explains that no, this is, in fact, a state program!
But then he managed to tip his hand, by explaining further how this is a federal program that grants money to the states, so they can then make these payments…to illegal immigrants.
So…just like the claim that NPR is not government-funded because the federal money goes to the radio stations who then pay for the programming from NPR, here the states paying out federal money exonerates Biden.
New #FactChecker --> Trump and allies say Biden pays rent for ‘illegals’ in Michigan. Not true. https://t.co/UzMwkbxdBl

DNC PR Firm – ASSOCIATED PRESS
Apparently, Democratic misinformation is completely bueno.
In this blatantly slanted piece on Spanish radio, the AP focuses on an Arizona station syndicate gearing up for the coming election. One direct way is the approach management and on-air talent will be attacking misinformation.
The key behind this is the growing tide of Hispanic voters turning to the GOP. This can only be happening because the Spanish language airwaves are filled with false information from the right. The information from the left is completely valid and above the need to be corrected, you see.
American Pravda @AP jumps back into The Great Spanish-language Disinformation War, with a garbage story that recycles all the tropes and promotes their Trusted Purveyor of News. https://t.co/6jtkHiUdsu pic.twitter.com/eOi1D0zjfD

Pre-Written Field Reports – POLITICO
Showing themselves to be on the cutting edge, Politico reports on a convention held last year, before Christmas (really now…) where organizers were holding forums on the need for those on the right to have children and foster large families for the good of the nation. The assessment: Because this select group wants this as a goal, it becomes that all people on the right are "obsessed" with having children.
To take this deeply forced perspective further – and to an obvious conclusion – this is due to racism. How, you may ask? Well…it just kind of sort of feels racist-like:
Though few speakers explicitly mentioned race, the conference provided an opportunity for those with genuine concerns about population decline to join forces with, and perhaps be influenced by, those who espouse racist or regressive views.
The far right is so obsessed with making babies, they just held a whole conference about it.
