The last months of the Biden administration tell us exactly who these people are. And they are awful.
My high school north of Chicago twice had the traveling troupe of The Second City comedy club come to perform. The first time they were hilarious, the second time raunchy, and there was never a third time. During their first visit, they had a skit that included a male and female newscaster. The program begins normally and then there is a newsflash: scientists have determined that the sun will go supernova in 20 minutes and that will be the end of the world. The presenters are shocked. They begin to weep and try to grasp that size of the calamity. Then they start to attack each other. “I could never stand you. You’re an idiot.” “Your aftershave could kill an elephant.” And on and on. And then the weatherman and sports guy got into it. After a while, the male newscaster said that they should repeat the headline. “The sun will go supernova in 20...millenia” And then there was silence and total embarrassment.
With Joe Biden heading into unmedicated senility and with no further worry of having to prop up Kamala Harris’ failing campaign, the people in the White House have decided that they can finally tell Americans what they really think of them. Let’s take a look at some of the actions taken during the past few weeks, when there is no concern for the future:
*The pardoning and commutations of numerous prison sentences.
*The use of Jimmy Carter’s passing to attack Donald Trump.
*The closing of all offshore areas for oil drilling.
*The release of 11 terrorists from Guantanamo.
*The awarding of medals to people who should be given jail sentences.
Let’s start from the top. After swearing up and down that Joe Biden would never pardon his son Hunter for his gun and tax crimes, he did exactly that. Not only did he pardon him for the charges brought against him, he gave a blanket pardon for anything that Biden Junior might have done over a long period of time. This broad pardon essentially wipes out any chance of holding the younger Biden responsible for his role in enriching his corrupt family? Biden and his clueless mouthpiece lied to the American people for over a year and then Biden did the deal. Joe Biden gave the American people the finger.
But Joe also commuted a lot of sentences and he removed from death row 37 criminals. Wow, that sounds so kind, but what about the people on the other side of the story? What of those whose loved ones were brutally murdered by these men and now have seen their tiny hope of justice go up in smoke? I remember when those who were involved in the bombing in which my son and I were injured walked as part of the Schalit deal. I was furious.
Joe Biden, in commenting on Jimmy Carter, said that Donald Trump could learn from the awful former president from Georgia about decency. This coming from the man who spent his entire career enriching himself and his family through his government positions. This from the man who has a credible complaint of sexual assault against him. This from the man who forced the Ukrainians to fire a prosecutor looking into his son’s company if they wanted to receive money promised to them. This from the man who lied about Afghanistan, officers being killed on January 6th, and Trump’s “fine people” comment. Joe Biden wouldn’t know decency if they mixed it in with his morning gruel.
While Donald Trump will quickly undo Biden & Co.’s offshore ban, the act itself is a poke in the eye of the American people. Wind and sun are not providing enough electricity, and nuclear and natural gas are not embraced by the green extremists in the White House. Our world runs on energy, and much of it is oil-based. Our clothes, plastics, and many important items in our lives are made from petroleum products. The White House dream of every American in his electric box on wheels and going home to an electric stove top is pie in the sky. But they could not restrain themselves from taking one last parting shot at the American people whom they loathe.
Just as the terrorists released by Obama for the deserter Bowie Bergdhal, the suddenly released eleven detainees let out of Guantanamo will go back to the battlefield to attack Americans and our allies. Biden's Department of Justice also guaranteed no death penalty for those involved in the 9/11 attacks.
And finally, the awards. Hillary Clinton should be in jail. George Soros has installed DA’s who have let violent criminals out to kill and injure again. Bono’s concerts are anti-Trump in presentation. Messi? Really? At least he had the good sense not to show up or send someone else to pick up his hardware. He, like Zuckerberg, Bezos, Tim Cook and other Democratic grandees, knows which way the political winds are blowing in the US.
In leaving office, Joe Biden and his puppet masters have given a big middle finger to the American people. They never liked us, but without a second term and the total failure of the outgoing VP to keep the Obama team in office, they allowed themselves to show us their disdain.
