Stone Endorses Sturgill In Florida Race

On Tuesday evening, Roger Stone appeared at Gallery J in Winter Springs Florida at an event to endorse Republican Scott Sturgill for U.S. House in Florida’s 7th District.

Scott Sturgill is running against Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-FL). Murphy’s campaign tactics, I have previously reported on, have been questionable, as there was a discrepancy concerning the date of one of her fundraisers. Murphy held the event while Florida was under a state of emergency.

Stone has been a longtime political advisor to President Trump and played a key role in the 2016 election. He was also the former business partner of Paul Manafort.

“He has a history of unconventional political strategy, coining his own list of ‘Stone’s Rules’ as the method to his madness,” according to the press release.

“The arrogance of Steakhouse Stephanie gorging herself on lobster tails and filet mignon while her constituents were sweltering without electricity and water speaks volumes about her attitude regarding the people of this district,” said Stone in his endorsement speech.

“Everyone talks about the blue wave coming in November,” he said. “But that wave will be met with a big red wall right here in Central Florida and in Congressional District 7,” said Sturgill last night in his acceptance speech of Stone’s endorsement.

Sturgill’s campaign platform includes term limits, supporting the president and defending the Second Amendment. Sturgill is the Trump candidate.

Sturgill is a local business owner of Durable Safety Products based in Sanford, Florida, where he resides with his wife Tracy and their two daughters. Sturgill is a fourth generation resident of Seminole County, as well as the frontrunner in his race against Murphy.
