Once again, a YouTuber is making headlines for doing something incredibly stupid. This time, it also happens that their actions are unbelievably evil to boot. Jesse Ridgeway, also known by his online alias McJuggerNuggets, and his wife made the fateful decision to murder their child in the womb simply because their child would’ve been born with Downs Syndrome.
This week, my wife and I made the very difficult decision to terminate the pregnancy due to Trisomy 21.

The choice was not made lightly. We really appreciate all of the personal stories that you guys shared with us, especially the unconditional support we received from fans…

From calling your baby “little nugget” to an “it” not worth living because of Down Syndrome, is something my brain cannot comprehend.

“As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe in the long-run will be beneficial for our family,” Ridgeway said about murdering his child. “Thankfully, we had a choice. It will take a little time to move on, but we are excited to try again in the future and hopefully have a better outcome. “
Ridgeway faced a well-deserved mountain of backlash for his choice to take the life of his unborn child. As with many of these types, Ridgeway somehow believes that he is the victim in all of this because they “lost” their kid after making the “impossible decision” to have it murdered.
I’ve never seen such hate and vitriol for two people grieving the loss of their unborn child and making an impossible decision.

“I’ve never seen such hate and vitriol for two people grieving the loss of their unborn child and making an impossible decision,” Ridgeway said about receiving criticism for his decision to kill his unborn son over having a disability. “The last 24 hours have exposed a side of humanity that is deeply disturbing. Being called ‘murderous pieces of s[**]t, evil, compared to Hitler’ and receiving NON-STOP DEATH THREATS.”
Ridgeway of course could not see how morally evil his own actions were, but was quick to call out those of others.

“If you ever wanted to marvel at the depravity of people online, just check the replies on my latest tweet,” Ridgeway said after making the depraved choice to kill an innocent child. “It’s a s[**]t-show of epic proportions. This is reflective of the current world and landscape we’re all living in.”
Ridgeway further justified the decision by saying that he didn’t want to “bury his son” if he were to die from further health complications. Apparently, it’s far easier to just have your son killed in an act that is no different than hiring a hitman before tossing him in the garbage to never be thought of again.
So he threw him in a medical waste bin instead. https://t.co/MeaDCpjqqD

Ridgeway quickly moved to monetize the murder of his child as well, posting a video online hoping to gain sympathy from his fans over their actions. As some have pointed out, Ridgeway is notorious for creating fake family-drama content for views and was what propelled the influencer to internet fame during the earlier years of YouTube.
This Jesse and Ashley Ridgway Down syndrome abortion story isn’t adding up to me.

I think they faked the whole thing.
I went to McJuggernuggets YouTube channel, which is Jesse’s main channel with over 4 million subscribers. His channel is riddled with controversial and weird,… pic.twitter.com/9B1BqRCCYO
It’s unfortunate that so many in the media and online use terms like “terminate the pregnancy” to describe what just took place. Cruel euphemisms like “termination” and even “abortion” sterilize the barbaric act and lessen the blow of what is already a nearly indescribable evil. In a healthy society, people like this would be prosecuted for what they’ve done. Being shamed online is an incredibly light repercussion for murder, so we can only hope that Christ can thaw the hardened hearts who have allowed this to become normalized.
We should pray for the Ridgeways to fully understand the evil that they’ve committed and for them to experience true repentance for their actions. We likewise should pray that our country moves to bring justice to sick, selfish individuals who are willing to murder their own children because they may feel burdened.
