Ivanka Harassed at Roundtable Event in New York

Verbally assaulting Trump administration officials is the new norm these days. The latest victim is Ivanka Trump, the president's daughter and adviser, who was attending a roundtable event on workforce development at the Institute of Technology at Central High School reading in Syracuse, New York Monday. Upon her arrival, about 100 protesters started chanting "What about the children!" at her. Others waved signs that read "shame" and "Ivanka! Do you know where their children are?" They were demonstrating against the White House's zero-tolerance policy of separating illegal immigrant families at the border.

Ivanka was also attacked for posting an innocent photo of her and her son on Instagram last month. Her photo was described as "tone deaf" by critics who say she was ignoring the plight of children who were being separated from their parents at the border.

Let's also not forget how a man verbally assaulted her while she was on a plane, traveling with her children. "Your father is ruining the country!" a male passenger shouted, before getting kicked off the aircraft.

Katie provided a list of all the Trump officials who have been confronted in the past few weeks. Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen, now former EPA Chief Scott Pruitt, White House Senior Advisor Stephen Miller, White House, Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his wife Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao.

The most talked about confrontation had to be Sarah Huckabee Sanders's rude awakening at Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, Virginia. When the White House press secretary showed up for a meal, the owner refused to serve her and asked her to leave. Then, she organized a group of protesters to follow her.

Last month, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) encouraged people to get in Trump officials' faces - be it in the streets, in restaurants, in gas stations, in malls, etc.
