It's only been a week since Senator Lindsey Graham died, and the usual suspects covered themselves in glory, celebrating his death and revealing just how ghoulish they truly are. One of these delightful people is Elizabeth Book Houston, who dropped off a cake at Graham's office to celebrate his death. She posted about it on X with a disgusting message for Graham's sister, Darline.
Remember, Lindsey adopted Darline when he was 19 years old, after both their parents had died.
I just dropped this cake off at Lindsey Graham's office. Congratudolences, Darline! Your brother is burning in hell, and now, you're working for the devil! pic.twitter.com/xecQPYaYl5

I bet Elizabeth thinks she's the good person here. It takes a certain level of depravity to not just do something like this, but to post it on social media and be proud of it.
Darline Graham, like Lindsey, works for the people of South Carolina, who—by the way—voted overwhelmingly for President Trump in 2024.
But a keen-eyed social media user happened to notice something in Houston's bio that should remind us all, once again, that we do not under any circumstances, want these people running our healthcare system.

Note that the same people who want socialized medicine also tend to wish their political opponents death and suffering, and to revel in it when either one of those things happen to their opponents

And they don’t realize how it undermines the argument for socialized medicine https://t.co/IznFQ1uKlc pic.twitter.com/cSiePZcDqS
They haven't been honest enough to say what they really feel, yet. But the push for socialized medicine is, as with all things on the Left, about power and control. They say healthcare (like housing, education, and food) is a human right that the government should dole out in the name of equity and fairness.
But how can people who wish death on their political opponents and celebrate when those opponents actually die be trusted?
They cannot be.
As we saw with the comically frightening hearing this past week, the woke ideological capture of our medical schools and medical institutions runs deep. That's what Dr. Sam Hawgood, the chancellor of the University of California San Francisco, proved when he said 'most pregnancies' are in women, but was finally forced to admit that he thinks 'trans men' get pregnant too.
Rep. Summer Lee wants more black doctors, competency and qualifications be damned, because it makes her feel good. It doesn't matter if your doctor is medically competent, just that he's 'culturally competent' and understands the systemic racism inherent in medicine, or something.
People will die because of it, and the Left does not care, because their ideology comes before your life.
So it's not just logical, but necessary, to conclude that a socialized medicine system run by people like Rep. Lee, Hawgood, or anyone Houston would vote for would—by design—be used as a political weapon. Democrats have made it very clear they want to turn the government into a persecution arm for members of the Trump administration if they regain power. Susan Rice spelled it out, and another Democrat said she wanted to bar Trump supporters like me from using the Internet for four years. That means I'd lose my job, my house ... everything. And they'd consider that just punishment for the crime of ... *checks notes* ... voting for a Republican.
Remember: just six years ago, these people not only wanted to take my kids away because I didn't want the COVID vaccine, but they also wanted to deny healthcare to us, too. In a world where the Democrats issue pardons to illegal alien sex offenders and murderers, as Tim Walz and Kathy Hochul recently did, there's no reason to believe they wouldn't deny red state Americans healthcare just to teach us a lesson.
