Here's more from WISN, which leaves out some important facts:
Officials said agents followed Salah Sarsour on Monday as he left his home, surrounded his vehicle and placed him in ICE custody.
They said he was taken to the ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois, and later to a detention center in Indiana.
The statement said Sarsour has been a legal resident of the Milwaukee community for more than 32 years and is a "lawful permanent resident" in the United States.
"We are calling on the U.S. government to immediately release Mr. Sarsour, to uphold the first amendment rights of citizens and residents of the U.S. to criticize a foreign regime, to uphold U.S. values of freedom, fairness and the rule of law (particularly human rights laws) and to place the interests of the U.S. and U.S. citizens and residents of the interests of a foreign regime," the statement read.
Sarsour is reportedly a documented supporter of Hamas, and has a rap sheet going back to the 1990s.

The post reads:
They just took down a notorious Hamas operative who's been embedded in America's heartland for over 30 years.
On March 30, 2026, over a dozen federal vehicles swarmed Salah Sarsour, Milwaukee furniture store owner, President of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee, and top dog in the American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) network. He's now sitting in an immigration detention facility in Clay County, Indiana.
His supporters are screaming "abduction" and flooding X with #FreeSalahSarsour. Cry harder. DEPORT THEM TOO!
This isn't some innocent "community leader." Sarsour is a documented Hamas supporter with a rap sheet going back to the 1990s, one that U.S. authorities let slide while he built mosques, businesses, and a jihad fundraising machine right here on American soil.
This is the enemy within that patriots have been warning about for years: a Hamas financier who used green cards and furniture stores as cover to send cash to terrorists, then rebranded as a "Palestine advocate."
Decades of Direct Hamas Ties:
Jailed 8 months in Israel in 1995 for supporting Hamas — where he buddyed up with Adel Awadallah, West Bank commander of Hamas’s Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades.
Named in 2001 FBI memos as a Hamas fundraiser tied to the Holy Land Foundation (biggest terror-financing conviction in U.S. history).
Brother admitted using the family furniture business to funnel money to Hamas operatives.
Current national board member of AMP, repeatedly exposed as a rebranded Hamas support pipeline with multiple leaders tied to terror networks.
For 30+ years, this guy lived large in Milwaukee, leading organizations and pushing antisemitic activism while his terror file collected dust.
The fact it took until 2026 for ICE to act proves how deep the Islamic infiltration rot has gotten.
Deport him NOW. Full proceedings, no delays.
Here's more on his ties to AMP and Hamas:

The usual suspects are painting Sarsour as the victim of a "kidnapping," which isn't true.
On April 1 '26, Salah Sarsour, a board member of the AMP was reportedly arrested by ICE. AMP mischaracterizes the arrest as an abduction, continuing their use of false narratives. In our podcast we discussed Sarsour & his brother's confession that Sarsour raised money for Hamas. pic.twitter.com/nLOryXHEBb

"He and his brothers were the topic of some Congressional testimony in 2002," she says. "According to that testimony, and also some press reports around that time period, Jamil Sarsour, who was based here in the United States, was arrested in Israel in October of 1998 for his involvement with Hamas. And he allegedly confessed that his brothers, Salah Sarsour and Imad Sarsour, were involved with raising money for Hamas from the United States even at that time."
Sarsour also has ties to Rep. Rashida Tlaib, hosting fundraisers for her during her 2018 Congressional campaign.

Simply incredible.
Democrats will once again go to the mattresses to defend Sarsour, of course. They will fight his arrest and deportation every step of the way, despite his ties to Hamas and terrorism.
Editor’s Note: The 2026 Midterms will determine the fate of President Trump’s America First agenda. Republicans must maintain control of both chambers of Congress.
